There is a vid on youtube of him on an electric ktm riding with jonny walker.
Im sure he could tranfer some of his incredible skills to a trials bike.
IF he wanted to✊
you should bring your bike next time Barrow and district, Bootle scrambe club, Lakes grasstrack, westmorland and Ccmc clubs always put quality events on in and around the lake district. At the moment heres 4 centre rounds on consecutive weekends leading up to the 2 day. 2 down 2 to go?
well done to all the brits in trial gp. Another Well deserved championship win for Emma Bristow and an awesome performance from toby martyn for his first win. Looked great on the qualifying section easily the best rider of trial 2.
forma boulder are comfy but mine come apart at the outside stiched seam after only about 10 trials in less than 6 months. 1 size up from normal shoe size to fit seal skinz and an arch support.
Its a pity the scrotes didnt get trapped in the concrete panels instead of your forks.
If you need to fill the damage I did this on a stanction with quick steel, use the old fork seal to clean off the excess as its going off. Worked well.
Normal thread screws. Take it off pointt the electric hot air gun at the screws for a minute and then use an impact driver to slacken screws. Or heat gently if you can on the bike and use a good posi drive with pressure and leverage. Ie wrench or vice grips on ya screwy.
Wednesday nights is for trials bikes and its nothing to do with triple d or Neil Crayson.
Its the landowner Matt that puts the tea/coffee and homemade biscuits out along with the signing on form and honesty box for your £10.
Ring Holmescales activity centre for more info.
Im fairly new to the sport and only done 8 trials but i noticed this straight away and found it a bit annoying especially on the single lap events ive done.
Ive also noticed riders bypassing the busy sections on multi lappers and going onto the next then doing the missed one twice on the next lap when the queue has gone which seems like a good solution to me.
Holmscales nr kendal is a good place for practice on Wednesday nights if your local enough.
Hope you enjoy learning new skills and welcome to the forum.
Nice bike btw.
I dont think the disc will make all the difference you think. Try galfer pads i think they are better than most. Also change the fluid and clean around the caliper pistons before fitting new pads. Every little helps.
Yep similar here but ive sold my enduro bike since i started doing regular trials events this year!
I was riding my beta weekly mainly on good/tough lakes terrain where i couldnt ride on my ktm and learning lots but ive never enjoyed it as much as doing events this year..and the road based single lap trials are mega day out in the lake district on the pegs instead of in the saddle lol...
All Thanks to lancs county, west morland and barrow mc"s for putting on some great loops and a proper good days riding!! ..... cheap too compared to 'extreme' enduros...
Hi welcome to the trials world. Hope you enjoy learning to keep your feet up and riding your new bike.
Are you entering trials events or just practicing your skills?
I came to trials after enduros etc and my only regret is not doing it 20 yrs ago. But better late than never. We are usually spoilt for choice with trials events in the nw.
