Great looking bike....But ....I highly suggest you do some research before dropping your cash, on anything..... There are some very interesting Threads/information on this forum you should read and then you can pick through the facts and opinions yourself, particularly on the Factory 300 Sherco did abandon this rear fuel tank design for 2016. Good luck

As in...the puller needs to be an internal thread.
-
Its an internal 31mm x1 pitch thread
-
Thank you Coach and everyone else for your positive feedback that confirms what I see and read about the quality of this bike...Great to see the video of them building Ragas bike and the guy even smearing grease in steering stem bearings...sure would be nice if little details like this could be done consistently on some other brands too

I read that the clutch piston is updated (lengthened?) on the RR anyone having issues with the MK1 version, Aluminum footpeg brackets holding up without too much wear and tear? Handlebar mounting clamp looks like it is of the single mounting pin to triple clamp type....does it bolt on solid or use some sort of isolation rubbers ?? Anyone tried the PWK28 conversion. Overall sounds like a very good first model release so far.

Awfully quiet here on TRS ''section'' of forum. Be Great to hear comments, critiques from owners on how the machines are holding up in the hands of the masses
-
Fxt....Wow!! You have a real Keeper there, take good care of 'er
-
Someone has ''updated'' the serial number on this bike...should be stamped in numbers or abrasive grinder work underneath that aluminum automotive plate. I concur, drill off rivets or pry off with flat screw driver to reveal...
-
Bikes are pretty darn good I am thinking. Hope the industry does not go in direction of auto's etc, were they are now ....over engineered...Design driven by a given vehicle life span so components cheaper, chassis thinner...cheaper and disposable components that are ''unbolt, buy new$$ reinstall'' by a certified service technician, not even mentioning the endless recalls for defects and design flaws ..... I think the bike manufacturers have done their part..its up to us now as owners to get our butts off the computers, couch's and get out and practice and practice some more

More Cubes = More performance! Swap a 300/305 top end on it if your budget permits it...PWK28 carb in Great upgrade...(Gotta keep your fuel crap free though )
-
I am guessing its the one that came off it and its not slightly crushed....You tried a successful fit-up minus Orings first?...not uncommon for substituted wrong seal thickness as Oni suggested
-
Did you check the fuel pump diaphragm for wear/holes, has fuel lines and vent been updated to new much improved way...proper routing and no blockages in hoses...
-
Between clutch basket and backing plate... Not saying this is a common problem, but a possibility if everything else is ruled out ??? Good luck
-
Maybe the riveted in rubber dampers NFG??
-
Looks like the econo model to me...probably is as advertised, 2013
-
Is TRS using premix lubed main bearings or the.....fully sealed like sherco has gone to?
-
Should be able to purchase the ''Bold new graphics'' kit from the dealer
-
Nice job Toneh, what alloy sheet did you use, Pretty soft, 1100??
-
That is a cast steel part on the tubular frame and by looking at your first couple pics, it seems to have been welded back together before...Maybe another new GG owner can look at their bike and confirm?
-
Pretty simple, measure the darn bore ....72.8mm is 250 and 76mm is 272cc (2.9)
-
Not a big deal, just make sure you clean everything up REALLY good before welding
-
Thats Yamaha's massive lump MX motor stuffed into the Scorpa twenty..I think they sell the Scopas as Yamaha's over there
-
Really good information here for potential purchasers of used 2010-2015 Sherco's. CHECK FOR FRAME DAMAGE FROM LOWER TRIPLE CLAMP IMPACT BEFORE SHELLING OUT CASH!!
-
Common problem is the weld on shift shaft lets go inside...often after using shift lever for a foot peg or heavy impact.
-
Just by looking at the pic...I would guess the small allen head motor mount bolt has been over torqued and it has pulled into the hole in the tab because the hole is little oversize and the lack of a washer. I am thinking the motor has not moved forward but the cracked tab has spread open bending at top & pivoting forward.
