  1. Compare toni's bike to the repsol you and me can buy. Big difference
  2. this is the third seal to go on the water pump. The first two times it happened, it was under warranty and it was due to the clutch casing not being machined properly. Would it be worth investing in the CSP aftermarket kit?
  3. Hi my 2018 trs rr 300 is leaking coolant from this hole in the clutch casing, is there supposed to be a hole here. The casing was replaced under warrenty a few months ago with a 2019 part including the gasket. It only started doing this last night. Many thanks
  4. thanks for the reply
  5. My mixture screw is set at 1.5 turns out, but the bike doesn't feel very smooth. 3/4 turns out seems perfect, does this sound right?
  6. I heard this as well, and apparently they aren't honouring their warranty. Causing a lot of people to change to a different bike.
  7. 250, i have the 300 and it has a lot of power

    2019 RR Vs One

The main issue i have had with TRS is how tight the bolts are on them. The air box does get a lot of mud in it i noticed this especially on my 2016 and the pilot jet in the carb would block a lot. On the 2018 they haven't improved this. You need to make sure you have a really good air filter oil and you grease the outer ring of it. You nearly need to clean the air filter every ride especially in the wet you will even need to take the airbox off and clean it out. From what i gather people grease the seal around the lid and and put tape over it. It helps a bit but the majority of the mud comes in through the rectangular breather in the airbox. I'm still waiting under warranty for my new trs to get bigger orings, as they cut the groves on the cylinder head to deep, so it is leaking coolant which i have to top up after every ride. The chain tension is terrible my bike hasn't even done a couple of weeks worth of riding and its as shaky as anything.

    2019 RR Vs One

I had a 2016 trs one 300 and now a 2018 trs rr 300. The suspension is a lot better on the rr and the bike feels lighter and zippier. I had to buy an ohlins for my trs one because the standard shock was terrible. It was very hard you felt every bump. I had my 2016 trs one for 2 years and the crankcase gasket was the only thing which went in it.
  10. i had a mitas rear tyre, terrible in stones and if you hit anything it lost air
  11. I have a 2016 trs i have had no problems with it, great bike and really well made. i have to order parts which takes a couple of days for delivery.
  12. I had a 2011 sherco 290, worked great for a year then I started having problems. Watch the frame on them my bent on me down at the footrests, so much that the chain was hitting it and i'm not a A rider. The radiator always gets hit by the yokes on the forks and the suspension doesn't last. Personally if I had to choose from those two bikes, i would go for the jotagas. At least they are easy to work on.
  13. Thats what made me go for the TRS, so easy to work on and well made. I have only ridden the 250 and decided to go for a 300 secondhand from Johnlee ,couldn't be more pleased with the bike and the service from them. The vertigo in my opinion is too expensive and seems to be having a lot of problems.

i think so to be honest i didn't fix it, as i was that annoyed with it. I only had it a couple of months. When the bearings went it had piston slap afterwards. But i still rode it with the piston slap, I was going to get the engine fixed but changed it to a 2011 sherco.

Watch the side bearings in them, the side bearings went on me which resulted in piston slap but still ran well.
  16. TRS is a great bike, easy to maintain and parts aren't bad price wise. Haven't had any problems with mine, coming from a 2011 sherco you cant compare the two.
  17. Found this on the internet its apparently a new bike coming to the market. What do you think?
  18. I disagree i had the r16v shock on my TRS and it was like a brick even set up right i was struggling for grip.so bought an ohlins and what a difference. It improved the grip massively.
  19. I think i have found out what the problem was the pulse pump was pushing to much fuel through. I noticed this when a full tank of fuel wouldn't even last an hour. Then the bike wouldn't start , so we changed the CDI box now it starts and run right, Thanks for the advice.

    2018 TRS RR.

From what i gather its a sneak peak of the 2018 trs rr so they are all going to have a polished frame which i am alright with, its easier to get a scratch out of instead of having a painted frame.
  21. The only upgrade which i have done to my trs is putting an ohlins shock in it , it makes a massive difference compared to the r16v.
