  1. Can't help with info but this is the set up you are referring to..... http://www.progressiveclassicproducts.co.uk/frames.html
  2. No good asking questions on a Sunday morning some on here go trials riding or observing.
  3. Many are changing the clutch cover for the earlier 3 spd type as you don't need all the points etc as replacement ignition set ups live in the left case, the cover will fit, just needs 2 holes drilling and tapping. It then looks like the earlier engine.
  4. Been using Falcons for a while now, not had any gripes with them at all. Will be buying some for the TLR build soon.
  5. Did you get sorted?? If not these people are in Ireland most weeks.I have used them , they are good. http://www.collectmybike.co.uk/
  6. Herefordshire Classic Trials club will be holding their end of year trial at the grounds of Clyro Court Hotel, Clyro Nr Hay on Wye.on December 30th, 10.30 start. 16 miles west of Hereford on the A438. All Brit classes, tw shock and a/c mono . See you there... http://www.facebook.com/groups/290760291034321/
  7. Is it a mono brake?/ If so they had a tendency to lock front brakes without warning. Can be dangerous. If it's not a mono enclosed type, then I'd strip and clean the brake, moisture may have got in, check for abnormal wear when it's apart, centralise it when building back up.
  8. They are a rare bike over here, I think I saw one at the Off Road show, never seen one competing though.
  9. Pity it went overseas and then they are not making them. I wonder if it has anything to do with the state of the economy over there??
  10. Anyone here know what the wheel rim offsets are for the 200 / 240 t/shocks?? Bought a pair of rims and hubs both Fantic but never started life together.. Thanks.
  11. Charlie, you need to free up space in your message box, I have tried to pm you, also through your site??
  12. Peter Gaunt, he's gone even smaller now, he's on a TLM 80 nowadays...
  13. No, but the previous owner may well have.
  14. Does anyone here know what besides the drum is different between the tlr 200 and 250 fr brakes, is it the whole set up or just the drum and shaft out of the plate? to take wider shoes?? Thanks in advance....
  15. On this piece of film with Mick Andrews you can see how lazy the motor seems but it does everything he wants it to do....
  16. Just read in a mag re a well sorted TY, they reduced the outer steel band on the flywheel from 140 down to 129mm. That will give it more get up and go with decent tyres fitted etc. You could do with a spare flywheel to try just in case it's not for you.
  17. I'm sure someone will be along to give advice soon but they have a flywheel weight that some remove, that will help.
  18. Mine slips when cold, not bad when warm, I used semi syn 10.40 Silkolene.
  19. This is mine, frame modified by someone else, though Jim is on the ball and helpful . Engine is a B175, mods inc a Suzuki TS 185 piston, Fahron porting, brass flywheel weight (from Jim) Electrex ignition, lower 2nd gear, clutch from Rex Caunt. Currently has Delorto carb but may go Amal if I can get a new slide. I have a modded Fantic head but not using it at present.
  20. Over here it seems that it's the last affordable entry level bike( 600 - 1k) although many have been robbed of parts for twinshocks, engines front ends etc. Some have even bolted 2 shocks to them in the past, but we've done that subject to death..... .
