It's a shame although I understand why. I'm sure there are many riders out there who, like me, are of a generation too late to admire pre-65's (I don't have any affection for the brutes, just a mild curiosity) but love Bultos, Ossa's and Monts to death and would love to see them in their natural environment.

I apologise if this is a repeat, buttt.... what are the chances of a twinshock Scottish in the future? I appreciate that the relevant committees are worked to death and all that but I reckon it would be a winner. Same sort of format as the pre-65, 2 days. Regardless of Doug's possible 100th win, Beta, after losing both Bou and Dabs found themselves with a decidedy sketchy entry in last years WTC and now find themselves with a team of note: Dougie, Fajardo and (I think, I'm open to correction) the Mighty Atom.

Having found a rather sweet (read: immaculate) Sherpa 125 my major concern is tyres. They use a 17". Before I commit myself I need to know whether these are readilly available?

AFAIR, they are rebuildable. The bag used to go when they were newish. A rebuild would sort it.
