  1. Any way you can get a nut splitter on the bugger mate
  2. Glenn, sometimes tightening a bolt very slightly can break the seal holding it fast, worth a go, I have used pro gas anti seize as well which is a really good product for stuck bolts/threads
  3. Sounds like a good excuse for a right good boll0ck kicking contest to sort things out
  4. Rustandoil, theres a couple of places to go practicing near Chelt, Killkenny and Aggs Hill, small venues but legal and plenty to do. Scorpa 3 runs the Stratford upon Avon Trials Club and they have routes for everyone, theres also a practice area near Snowshill called Top Farm, think its a fiver to ride per day.
  5. Me,Ralph and SurgeonRocher get up the Yennards, top place for Trials and practice, probably going this Sunday for a wobble
  6. Great vids thanks for posting them

    4-stroke

I hope the Gasser 4 stroke will work out well for them, but from my own experience the Gassers tend to fall to bits pretty quickly even if you look after them well and chuck parts at them. The major problem with a 4 stroke going pop is the cost involved putting it right, thats why I have only been tempted by the 4rt so far, not heard of any of the others blowing but the Beta seems to have a few other problems still. I saw a video of Tarres on the 4 stroke and maybe it was the video but it sounded like a bag of nails and on some of the steps even Tarres got caught out by the run on of the motor. I would as any new bike give it a while, certainly get the first couple of batches out the way before buying one, could turn out to be the best 4 stroke yet..........but doubt it
  8. Depends on what Bilc0 said? would have been nice to have had the chance to see it
  9. Bilco, nothing like free speech is there?
  10. Theres a Waverley Garage in Weston Super Mare maybe Heath will buy one
  11. not quite yet Cliff, the 4rt cant pull 8th from a standing start heard on BBC Radio Oxford a couple of hours ago the Fire Brigade were called out to extract some blokes k**b from a 4 stroke motorcycles spark arrestor, took 45 minutes apparently, will text dad tomorrow to see if Ralphs walking funny in the morning hes well excited
  12. Ive got wireless broadband in the shed now mate,
  13. Check all the engine mounting bolts are tight first as well as the bash plate, could be as simple as that
  14. Too be fair, Banbury has come along way since 20 years ago, lot of techi companies now and of course ProDrive...still would'nt take a trip up Bretch though
  15. Christ Andy, you ever been there? get padlocks for your wheels, keep a baseball bat on the passenger seat and dont follow any signs to Bretch Hill
  16. I witnessed surgeonrocher's Iris chain snap and it was a bad un, as well as a nasty cut to the arm and bike damage a full round of cucumber sandwiches got squashed on landing Clarkey was saving for elevenzees later in the morning. I would'nt use an Iris if they were giving them out free, just not worth the risk. Been using Izumi on the Mont and no probs at all
  17. I had an 06 - 270 for about 16 months, they are a great bike and reliable next to others. I used to keep the flywheel weight on in the winter and take it off once the mud dried, they have plenty of go on tap but not as fierce as the current 270 Rev 3's. Also stuck some Boyesen reeds in it which considerably smoothed the power delivery and dropped the gearing a tooth on the front. You would notice a big difference in power against the 250 and I'd say go for a 250 if you can get one, the 270 is a great bike (apart from the carb) and you will have fun on it but much more likely to get you in trouble more often. The aftermarket jet kit is well worth a buy if it isnt already fitted and have a look on R2W's site if you find large pools of petrol on the garage floor
  18. Terrible news from Brands yesterday, a huge British talent and nice lad took his final corner in the World Supersport Race. Had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times and being passed like i was stood still at Mallory a few years ago, he'll be sorely missed by a huge amount of people. Thoughts are with his family and friends, vey sad day for the world of road racing.
  19. Great Trial Pete thanks, sections spot on and no a*** twitchers couldnt beleive how a little 2 minute downpour could make such a difference to the sections, even Hicko was on his jacksee. Thanks to all the helpers, observers and Stratford club
  20. I'd never run less than 5 in the front anywhere,6-7 on rocks, rear usually 3-4 bit less if really muddy
  21. Dads gonna p*** himself when he realises mate haha nice

  22. Thats very good mate, plenty of people cant do that after years, now riding over stuff is the key along with hills and cambers, not much point in hopping if you cant get up a hill or over some rocks. Sounds a good price in dollars thought you were from over here sorry.
  23. Wow!!!!! surgeonrocher, that sounded a nasty off mate, must have spilled ya Pimms as well
