Hi , have a simular model , cleaned tank , repaired leek , carefully diss carb , sprayed cleaned , , adjusted , , bike ran great , , then would not start , diss assembly again , would run , , over and over ,, It was used bike purchased 4 years ran when purchased , sat , with fuel , then turned into lemon , constant tinkering to get it started , then runs great , , so now stored with carb tank removed , Glad it’s my brothers ,, , , cheers

Hi , maby a good purchase , little rusty , cylinders can have small rust holes , , carb ,prob gummed up ,tank , was it drained , ,seals engine need replaced , wheels you can possibly replace 200 cota , or keep original , and rebuild , ,, once and a while there on ebay for parts , montesa dealer Oregon state , he sells on ebay , I purchased almost 1k parts , from this dealer ,, I have , 200 Cota , Rickman montesa vr73 , king scorpion , , my Rickman was ruffle same condition as 123 ,,, ,, montesa , is a , different road ,, say Yamaha or Honda ,, why harder to find parts , more$$$ , and more time to complet project ,, ,, and ,, you have a rare bike CHEERS ,, sincerely larry Seattle !,,,,,, best offer I

My project hodaka , looking for a few good parts

Hi , I don’t know how to fix motoplate or fima mag, ignition , , I have noticed ,, burnt spots on my Fima and week spark motoplate , , so I switch most of my buls to conventional points condenser , Because of the cost $$$$$ , like most ebay sights asking 300 to 500 for ignition , , that my 2 cents , cheers

Restoring my Rickman hodaka , I just purchased webco cylinder and head , stamp 123cc .. wanted piston rings new preferred . fits this package requires 11or 12 mm wrist pin, ruffly , 55mm piston any info Have contacted hodaka parts co. No reply , I noticed there competing in brothers racing Mid west , USA , was no reply to my email ,, I painted this tank , baby blue and other parts , a possibility , head will fit , on the other cylinder , , upon ,, to find a matching piston , working on E engine assembly , for matching engine , frame , , to make it original , ? More collector valuable , , cheers

Hodaka Rickman 100 cc , project are there any hodaka people out there , , I just purchased webco cylinder and head , on ebay,,, no piston , 123cc stock mk at 56 mm it’s used , I been looking for piston rings that fit small rod 11mm , on model 92 , early 1970 engine , The original 125 hodaka engine does not fit bigger piston rod ,, , I have purchased E engine , , Project not engine in photo . , there only 400 , hodakas or so mf by Rickman , 1 original webco , 1 copied , I working on building one for me ,, there might be others stored Unknown bikes , Webco ,, piston 123cc is Hard to find , I looked on hodaka form , few others are adapting other pistons , for the 125 Have only one photo , , And I painted the tank baby blue , cheers

Rickman 250 vr73 original installed other tank ,to get running , it ran after 20 plus years storage ho used another carb , it was blowing oil out left case vent , , I disabled engine rest bike stored foam boxes engine had trans shaft broken slowely reassembly ,, my Rickman hodaka I purchased from bike salvage co. Chicago area ..it runs I built it from frame up ,some super rat wheels forks fit right on ,it really hi geared

Hi would like to see more pictures of Yamaha , like engine mount , I’d tag , one of other Rickman Yamaha 360 owner,, he quoted on his site there was 32 yamaha 360 mf , , but ,,, his 1972 , had a vin number into thousands , there is a book Found on site , listed for sale quoted ,it has all the Rickman mf ,, originals ,, does it ,, have all special order frames , mf without engine wheels installed , just like here still selling today , I purchased new old stock frame montesa 250 frame from cycleservant Oregon , few years ago , a spare ,project , found a site selling selling Rickman kits frame tank plastic , new , think it was connected to new owners of Rickman store in England , there frames plastic tanks seats , listed on ebay , all the time

Ya trials , trails, there dirt bikes , I just x moto racer , I like classic bikes . Don’t really like standing all day on bike . Like the speed , and motocross , Rickman was expensive bike now even more , there still in business ,, special order ,I don’t think there perfect by far , don’t like gas tank , , or brake cable , think they should put more Yamaha , Honda engines , on small bikes . Ya fixing montesa engine , what a exp. pain . Thanks for good times cheers
