  1. http://www.mototrials.com/news/2013/10/20/102-mototrial-national-schedule-set-for-2014-and-2015
  2. There was a large discussion of this on the Beta forum. http://www.trialscen...__ paoli
  3. You are not going to find them online. Don`t be shy, call your dealer or importer. We did it that way for decades.
  4. There is a strange plus side. I never even get close to having arm pump, since I can hardly hold on!
  5. You are going to remove the forks. But just remove the caps from the tube and slide the tube just far enough to add the spacer. Not draining the oil might be hard. You could drain it out the top and re-use.
  6. I tried to reply on the other day but the post got lost. Just a plastic spacer off a water pipe will do. Somewhere from 10-20mm. I would just pull the top off the springs. It can be done without everything coming apart. The slit idea leaves too much room for failure.
  7. Unfortunately it also seems to be a thing with age. I`ve had it pretty bad going on four years now. The only thing I have not tried is acupuncture. It was so bad at one point every bump and stone hurt weather on a motorcycle or bike. Worst thing is the pain screws up your timing. I feel almost normal if I don`t ride. I started trials in `72 and do not plan on quitting. Vintage has become looking pretty good. By the way my wife`s been in physical therapy since `95 so I`ve seen, heard, been tortured and helped in all sort of ways. Good luck, stretching is the best.
  8. Graham`s team could care less about trials is all.
  9. You have got air that is trapped. Very frustrating. Get that rear caliper way above the master cylinder and work it from there. If it is real bad let it sit a few days that way.
  10. BetaRambo has spent considerable time building bikes for his daughter. He has come up with quite a few unique projects. Here is a picture of myself trying to get hurt on one of them. They are quite fun.
  11. I was not implying condition, just it could be easily time for mains. I always feel you should keep a ty mono running, as they were great machines.
  12. It is pretty easy on the flywheel side to check. Other side not easy. Just take the cover off and grab the flywheel, try to move it up and down. Not in and out, should be no play. Bike seems to have just a few too many hours on it. Good luck.
  13. You have to check compression with a gauge, not that it is hard to kick.
  14. I`d sure be thinking the main bearings are trashed at this point. Make sure you grab the flywheel and feel for any play. At least you are getting to the source of your problem.
  15. The 38v just relates to part number. Yamaha does not change the castings when the same part is used.
  16. They make too much power and will hurt you!! Trouble is you won`t see it coming.
  17. Covers do not just go bad. I`m thinking mains.
  18. I would think the reverse of how it came apart. The holder on first (with out the seals, the fork tube, then install the seals with a plastic tube for a driver. Remember that the top nut only needs to be barely snug as the o-ring does the rest. I could always tell if someone had been in a set of forks that I had worked on before, since I left them hand tight almost.
  19. Hey Glenn, made the old girl do 4 seven mile loops Saturday. Not bad for a bike that sat almost nine years outside. Had a great time. Our ITSA event is Roswell, NM next month.
  20. Hey Glenn, hope you are enjoying the new job. The bikes almost together. We have a two day event I`m riding to get ready for our next ITSA event!
  21. http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/47545-cracked-clutch-cover-pro-300-raga/ You read this yet, Mitch.
  22. I agree with the one point idea with the old rules. Now one point per section could be three minutes in a hard spot positioning the bike totally wearing yourself out. A 30 point day today could easily be a 70 pt day by old rules.
