  1. You turn by footpeg pressure. As in all turns body position is important.
  2. Lots and lots of practice. It is best to ride with someone much better than you to push your limits, Only extremely great riders pull off the 360 at will. Good Luck.
  3. Cope, you ever ride the logs in Pampa. That is where I `had` to learn to ride air logs!
  4. Some Sherco`s seem to rest on the disc guard. I remember a rider installing a new guard at a trials. Just as soon as he kicked up the side stand the `new` guard broke instantly.

  6. I would just call speed and sport in CA. There is nothing magical in springs for an old Bul.
  7. You are likely missing the guard that it stops against.
  8. It`s all a matter of timing. At your age (I think we are about the same) fun is more important. Take a step back, maybe vintage would be better. Back to the question, you have to be 100% in the mind before attempting any obstacle. Sounds like you are getting no lift before the obstacle. The transition to weighting the back is very important. Get someone to take video (Son) to see what you are doing wrong. Good luck Charlie!
  9. Maybe I should recommend some used formulas . The 2012 de-bacle of brakes was no better. The poster was banging the brand instead of looking for help. After all the poor B--st--ds that delt with the GASSER and Sherco problems in 2012.

    Brakes

    Try this, Chris. http://www.trialscen...ced-for-better/
  11. When a bike is new or your brakes are not working. You run up and down the road getting the brake nice and hot and throw a bucket of water on them. One brake at a time. works a treat. I saw a world champ doing this on a brand new bike is how I `learned` the trick.
  12. I think you need a better mechanic. The beta`s used to have the worst brakes thru 1999. Since the rev 3 came out they have been fine.
  13. Blocky had the best advise without being there. If you are running 5 or less, two things will happen. You will be worn out sooner and have a flat. It would have to be real wet to be down to 5.
  14. The pro`s are available, but not the older bikes.
  15. Sounds like it was put there on purpose. A lot of equipment manufactures put them in there products. A former owner/mechanic probably did it. In fact Gas Gas should put them in all the Pro`s kick start side case!
  16. Here`s a slow build and antics on a reflex from our club.
  17. ``Put your hands out about handle bar width, stand at the bottom of your stairs then twist right hand and run up stairs. Rememeber to use your brake on way back down quote from Smalley Are you making fun of the way I walk the sections???? Remember a lot of lip action to get the right 2 stroke sound!
  18. By the way replacing the two head O-rings is quick and easy just to rule that out. De-carbon the head while your at it.
  19. Going back to the last 20 minute period that over heated, was the fan running the whole time? When the fan goes bad, sometimes it starts and sometimes it don`t.
  20. He had two posts that are gone. Yeah, I know what either carbs are supposed to be, it sounded like mikuni jetting. He has something strange going on.
  21. He said earlier a 140 and a 30 pilot. I would have swore one post he said it was a 2003.
