The clutch on the pro is a diaphragm type with fingers. You measure from the point below to the end of the finger. I think it is 17mm. Lay the bike on it`s left side, remove the kick starter, the clutch cover bolts, gently pull off the cover (careful of the gasket) tie the cover to the fork tube through the kick start hole. Be careful not to lose the washer on the kick start shaft. Now measure. If it is 16-17.5 it is probably still ok and I wasted your time. If not it needs attention.

I think your looking for a tire. A Dunlop 803 seems to hold the bead better if you are using a tube on a tubeless rim. Just my useless observation. Ha!
-
Just offering suggestions. I would still have the finger height checked, 15 minute job. The reason is if it is not correct, everything else you try will not work. Good luck
-
That has always been a problem for the PRO. People with small hands adjust the lever too much. The piston in the master cylinder has to return all the way to work properly. Just the nature of the machine. I have seen many women riders switch brands for this reason.
-
First, did you check for the free play at the lever? When the finger height becomes lower, the leverage decreases which makes for a harder pull. This happens when the clutch pack swells. Which can happen even with out riding.
-
The tire will say tubeless on it. Your wheel came tubeless. Chances are someone has put a tube in by now. You still need a tubeless tire to fit the rim. It can be a pain to get the wheel to not leak, so the easy solution was the tube.
-
It is the one closest to the rear brake pedal.
-
Wait, I`ll dig for my manual. I want to say it`s the inside. If you pull the wrong one, it could mean a lot more work is in your future!
-
Usually most buy a new clutch pak. Originally you could buy different thickness of steel plates, but I forget what year there was a change. Some people who have been Gasser riders for awhile are very use to this issue.

Does the lever have free play? When the clutch pack gets out of spec (You have to check the finger height) it can become hard. Either the clutch lever was adjusted wrong or it`s time to pull the clutch and bring it back to proper finger height.

You are correct for asking, one is the drain, the other is the de-dent with a spring for the shift drum. The bolt should be the drum, the hex should be the oil. Let`s see if someone else has an opinion..

Play in the yard during the week!
-
Yes, there is O-rings. But after running with the mounts broke for an extended time they will need some help.
-
Most likely the mounts for the exhaust are broke/bad or loose. Which brings them out of alignment. Repair the mounts, re-pack the silencer and silicon up where it slides together.
-
The stock silencer had a plastic tip that came apart easily to re-pack.

The rubber grommet needs replaced.
-
Sounds like the switch is connected to the ground wire.
-
Not knowing what issues he had before the rebuild, it is hard to say about the rod. I`ve seen hundreds of rod failures. Those small specks could be brass shavings. That is what I see at first glance. No matter, it is hard to believe that is a fresh rebuild
-
So did you have the top off the carb or the float bowl?
-
You have little small bits on the piston and in the head.( Unless that is just small water particles.) Rub your hand over them to see if is rough. Myself, I would pull of the exhaust just to double check how the piston looks. I`m not trying to ruin your ride tomorrow. Like I stated, hard to give a good opinion on this forum.

This is a used cylinder I just sold on EBAY to a happy guy in France.
Yes, It was lightly used. But not new.
-
Sorry, but I`m not joking. Maybe the quality of the picture is too good. That is why I made the comment of the gray plug before. From where my eyes see it. It looks like those small bits are the rod coming apart, and you should not have so much wear on the new plating already. Just get a second opinion from some one physically looking it over.
-
Put a new plug in and go from there. Chances are you fouled the plug.
-
Hate to tell you, but only after 3 hours of riding that cylinder and head should be clean as new. Hard to give advice over the internet, but have someone that knows check it out.
-
That explains the gray. Have you checked the impeller and fan all working ok? MCMAN, I`ve ran a 5 in all Beta`s since `89.
