The clutch master cylinder takes just dot 4 brake fluid or similiar. Chances are the stator is bad as the techno was known for that. So you need to find out how to proceed and do you want to spend the money. Search this forum for stator issues and info.

Next time remove your gas cap. Somehow you are not getting fuel I bet. Just because you have fuel in the tank, you still could not have fiel in the carb.

Are you sure it`s not just running out of fuel? Flooding would be fuel leaking and a wet plug.

You do not say what year. Is this with the rear mounted tank?

It looks like a 1998 and probably a 250. The 280 kit was late to the show.

My boy had a 2012 250 with the delorto rear tank model. IT had less than 10 hours on the bike from a novice rider. Like new. It was a dog , I had a kiehin so ordered a manifold for thw bgger carb. The vacuum i take was a joke. It just would no pull any fuel. That 2012 the frame was like spagehtti. The head stay from frame to engine, we would lose that bolt no matter what, I finally double nutted it and red loctite. Any how that vacuum system is someting to run from. I could go on but this post would be deleted.

Are you sure you stalled it? You could of had a cold siezure. The quickest way to diagnos this is to pull the front header off and look up the cylinder and check the piston. Otherwise if you have fuel and spark it should start again. Just make doubly sure the slide is closing all the way.

So how long did the engine run at high rpm????? And did it stop unexpectedly?

Lay the bike on its side to see if you can get fuel out the over flow, but only until it starts dribbling. You do have fuel?LOL

The only part that looks like that is the mounting bracket that holds the trigger to the case, which is the flywheel side.

You maybe lucky. Sounds like the top hat & spring.

Take a pic of the carb as it sits. I am betting a vent hose issue.

A weld broken on the shift shaft is likely yoir problem.

The oil also makes a difference on a quick bite or not. That was why most of us used atf on the pro clutch. I sold a 2004 pro to a guy. He had me resell it as he bought a new Montesa. I could hardly ride the thing, the clutch was so slow. I called him and asked what he had done to the bike. All he did was change to Amsoil.

Keihin death barble. Buy some security torx remove jet tower then clean. Order new oring gasket for an OKO carb.

Well you have to remove the header pipe, and removing the tank and muffler is no big deal.

If you are just doing the top end, leave it in the frame. You can pull the motor without removing the skid plate. Which will keep the frame in place.

H did not bring the Gas Gas as it was a vintage event. I was curious too.

I am at a trials camping at the moment. I have a friend that just bought one and is here. I am assuming the box is now made in China as KTM is big on that. Start with new pads as people always think they have plenty of pad when its beyond the wear limit.

Check all the grounds and connections first. Also get a puller and check the woodruff key. Zeros sheared them all the time.
