Same thing different color. I remember changing as many plug caps as coils through the years.
-
I thought it was 2017 when the new clutch came out that Sherco went to mineral oil?
-
You do know you need a new shift drum, too. Very common back then.
-
You going road racing with that sprocket?
-
It is very common, every Gasser I ever rode was the same way. But yes warming up to operating temp and then a good cleaning out is required.
-
It can happen easily, but the OP has not been on Trials Central in 7 years. I hope your not expecting a reply!

Myself, a dab of silicone and drive a self tapping screw.

You are replying to a 8 year old thread?????

The sticking ball can be hard to identify. By the time you change the plug, the ball could have released and you instantly think the plug fixed it. Get rid of the ball and that can no longer add to any problems. Besides it`s a free fix. Just pull out the inside rubber out and remove the ball. Some removal of plastic might be needed. Good luck.

Back in 2018 my son went through 2 plugs on the first loop. It was a 20 mile loop. As soon as we removed the ball out of the check valve on the gas cap, he never has changed the plug again.

A cell phone in the states and a satellite phone in Mexico.

The higher the fingers, the lighter the feel. They also make a soft retainer ring, see your dealer. The type of oil can make a difference too. Nils Clutch trial is an improvement or your m/c could use a rebuild kit.
-
That`s an under statement. It washes out in the ruble unexpectedly. I got to section 8 at a low traction trials 2 weekends ago, drove straight back to the pits and put a for sale sign on it and it was gone in 24 hours.

Well, if you don`t own a chain breaker then you have not been into motorcycles very long. And the mini chain breaker was invented like in the 70`s to carry in your tool kit. The only chain related common problem is throwing a chain and it getting stuck around the front sprocket. The correct way to fix this problem is to remove the flywheel cover to back the chain off by turning the flywheel backwards.
-
The colors are a 1997 and the rear wheel is not Beta.
-
So know you wonder with the above comment if it was 101 with the half link stock. So you buy a chain breaker and a 102 or longer chain.
-
That would be 100 link chain. You werw counting 2 pin plates.
-
Well if you are ordering the same sprockets then count the number of links on your existing chain. It`s much easier to own a chain breaker, then you can cut a chain to fit. Just order a chain at the best deal, longer than your original.
-
Yes, and loves it. I gave him a great deal as I was buying my sons TRS.
-
Sounds more normal than not. Bikes can develop a little noice in the clutxh as time goes on.
-
If you are getting fuel to the carb, it sounds like to me your floats might be sticking. My last Beta would do that upon a large impact with a rock or log. Drove me nuts. Changed out the floats and valve which cured it. The day I sold it did it again loading into the new owners truck.

The clutch master cylinder takes just dot 4 brake fluid or similiar. Chances are the stator is bad as the techno was known for that. So you need to find out how to proceed and do you want to spend the money. Search this forum for stator issues and info.
