Setting it to torque is probably how they became broke. They are pinch bolts, it does not need to be cranked down.
-
That has not been available for years. Reggie you are looking at a very old listing.
-
The only way it could enter the carb is if the engine vent was connected to it. Take more pictures.
-
Yes, retired and just doing trials schools.
-
Where have you been, there is no Ryan.
-
Actually you will have more luck finding caps off an XT 350 any year. Just so happens I worked quite a few years in a Yamaha shop.
-
And so why have you not helped him? Besides 250 ty`s in the states are twin shocks, we only got TY350 mono`s.
-
Even the guy with the new 301 yesterday had to turn his up. My son has turned his up twice in the 2 weeks he has had it from new.
-
The clip sits against the seal.
-
Oh you got lucky as we will never, ever own a Sherco ever again. The Trs are fine, the newer the better. The Beta is a better clubman bike over most brands.
-
OH, the funny thing is he probably just needs pads.
-
You are wrong in your previous post, the washer goes below the seal. There is supposed to be a clip between the seals which hold the seal into the leg. It is like that on any fork made.
-
Adjust the idle or take it to someone.
-
You posted in a general thread. Not any particular brand. Confused much. You might indicate what you are looking for, like a brand or model.
-
aprilia, honda, beta, fantic, montesa, armstrong, gas gas. yamaha, there are many more..
-
That sure is a beefy bolt compared to the old style.
-
I think if you take the top fork nut apart, you could also just use a pvc pipe to make a tool.
-
Well, at least you have the aluminum fork brace. With out it it felt like it had a hinge in the middle of the bike.
-
I weighed exactly the same when I had a brand new 2000. The bike came very soft front and rear. You could add a spacer in the left fork as they only had one spring. I would just ride it as is. In trials it is better to be soft than hard. Sag really has no place in trials.
-
Put the forks back together and put tension on the fork spring, even if it means going back on the bike.
-
After doing it once, you will never do it again until it is needed.
-
That only happens on the 4T.
-
Dan us correct. But while removing the skid plate take note where it is hitting the bottom of the engine. I suspect bent cases.
-
You can never go wrong with yamabond 4. Even amazon carries it.
