My New Old Sherco
If that fork has been open for any length of time and has water init, you need to get it out, and if unsure do it anyway. Parts are available through your Sherco dealer, of online at any number of Bannar ad dealers here. Trials UK, Splatshop for starters. Bike looks pretty clean, so worth a bit of maintenance. I would drain the forks and go back with 330ml per leg of fresh 5w fork fluid. If the one side comes out milky, flush it well with diesel or kero to get the water out or strip and clean. Trapped water in there is no good. They now offer a heatshield application(adhesive fiberglass insulator) for the mudguards. Yours looks so clean it may be orig and not have one.

Odd Bog Issue
Is this a Kiehin bike or Mikuni? Principals all the same, both symptome are consistant with a lean pilot circuit or blocked jet or passage.. Do you recall jet sizes?

noisy front brake on '09' cabestany replica?
The "Braking " thin light wave front rotor(as on my '07 shreaks badly it seems. They just seem to resonate! I think they have changed rotors since, but cannot recall when. The heavy disk off a Gasser was the fix early on. Heating and cooling with the water will get you grip, but not silence!

sherco crank?
All good then, as long as you did not find the crank unserviceable. Think you will get the new style sealed main bearings, and I still highly recco the Viton crank seals from Splatshop for alcohol fuel resistance! And if doing it up, for about a tenner, you can get all new screws and nuts! Nice and shiney!

Fuel Pipe Switch
I have always associated this term with brit origination, as we do not call it petrol in the first place, it is GAS!

Fuel Pipe Switch
Down is still always "ON", the O(when facing up) stands for OFF!

Oko 24 carb on a Bultaco
I do not know the M49, isit a 250cc displacement? All a guess, but i am thinking a #40 pilot and a #110 main to start on that bike. Get airscrew within 0.5-1.5 range 1 being ideal.

2009 Evo - Smoking like a bonfire and no power!....help!
Basic thoughts here are that the woodruff has sheared due to improper torque on the retaining nut and the resultant slow ignition timing has caused the exhaust to overheat and light off all the accumulated gunk init!

My New Old Sherco
Yes, '01-'05 will interchange, in blue or silver plastic. The stickers would be the issue. If the orig tank is in good nick, try to preserve it.

And still true! But if you put new pads in it, they may still be soft as well.

08 300 pinking / emptying carb
If at lower throttle openings, you may want to up that pilot jet still.

Fuel Pipe Switch
The orientation was a bit different on the older bikes as compared to my '07, cannot recall, yet I still think the turn the same but not sure, so down is ON, rotate lever counter clockwise(looking at it) is OFF, rest is simples. Mine has an O or R on top of the lever when set horizontal, obviously I have slept since then!

Smage wins again!
Young Patrick hit the ground running today to take the penultimate round in the US Pro Series. He can relax tomorrow in the final round. (Like he ever lets up?) Good to see Will Ibsen in the list today, taking a solid third after Cody. Seems he ain't lost much riding skills while in school!
