  1. Oh my gosh, that is funny! I do the same thing! Always Dabster comes to mind! Hey Charlie, I got this great little boogie riff in my head! "You never know where that thing has been, but you can always lube it up again!----OOOOOhhh, my Yomeeeeeee!" "When you think your tire's going flat, you can fix it again just using that!----OOOOOhhh, my Yomeeeeeeee!" "Even after Dabsters had a spin, I'll do it all over again and again!----OOOOOhhh, my Yomeeeeeee!" "Just lube it up and let it slide and before you know it, you can ride----OOOOOhhh, my Yomeeeeeeee!" I haf to friggn stop now!!!!!!!!!!! But NO! "Merry Christmas Baby!!!!!!!!!!! I got a looooong way to go!" "When Santa came down the chimney, at half past three, what did he have for my baby and me!---OOOOOhhh, my Yomeeeeeee!" "You can use it on the left, or use it on the right, you can use it when Dabster is nowhere in sight!---- OOOOOhhh, my Yomeeeeee!" I really do need to stop now! Merry Christmas Baby!
  2. Sounds to me like you guys may be getting some fun and exercize! Keep it up! It is a bit like two steps forward and one back, every time!
  3. Yes, Cman's stuff looks pretty good on screen for a small cam. The other stuff will probably give lower resolution(smaller screen) , yet a decent lens helps a lot. I would call the cheap RS pos a (cheap pos) not worth having unless you wanted it for CHEAP special effects! Kind of why I got it, as I do no other vids at this this time , only stills, it was just a cheap experiment on the whim! But it fits in my pocket! Just next to usesess junk! Basically , you are going to get what you pay for, but if on the cheap? I really do need to drag out the Fuji just to see what it will do, probably 320x480 at best at 30fps.
  4. As a straight answer, probably would not be far off to suggest a goog Chiro as a start if your mate is old and beat up like some of us. Need to keep some movement in things you know, along with the good stretches! Billy has it to the science it seems! Little to none of this will you recieve from a regular MD! And seems only a few DO's will give you the insight! I don't care if you think you are near death, stay away from the surgeons unless everyone else has given up, they can really screw you up!
  5. OK, think I got it now! Ishy, If they cut off your primary sourses of enjoyment, meaning the bike and computer and phone, all to play with will be the--------? Nevermind, I just hope you don't run out of matches, too hard on the wood to build a fire!
  6. At least he keeps it running! Sounds kinda like us, hu Jon? Change that fuel Charlie! Merry Christmas !!!!!!
  7. I should send you this thing I got for $50 at Radio Shack! It is REALLY cheap! Many digital cameras will take some halfway decent MPEG's . I always liked the Fuji's. Memory is cheap now, so you can get a lot of video time on a 2gig card. Matter of fact, you might want my old one, not a bad rig till I went to the SLR Nikon, never did any vids with it though.
  8. If he's buggered when the power gets cut we may have a new lad by this time next year! Always happens that way you know!
  9. Probably a broken shifter fork (on the one it is stuck in) which is permanately engaged. As this being the case, one cannot engage anther gear, as things will lock down!
  10. I suppose you are running the Kiehin if this is a Caby bike? What jets? Which needle? Whch position? Is the carb clean? Many posts in the past, these things are sensitive, and a bit of ping?
  11. Best to all, wish I had just a bit of snow! Merry Christmas!
  12. Yea, but go out for one of them Triumphs and you will be the third most famous in the neighborhood! Right after Jesus and Mary! They shoud re-do the Spitfire, loverly pos! Always wanted one of them ! The MG B-GT was just too conventional. A budd had an Opel Manta! I could never afford such!
  13. Wish we had that! It is cold enough, about 25F in the shed now! Buurrrrrrrrrrr!
  14. Are you sure you are anywhere near full tilt when this occurs?
  15. First needs one of the wraps with the magnets in it! Then go see one of them chinees accupuncturist. All that B*****ks about the spine making the elbow hurt! It's you damn feet that constricks the bloody elbow!
  16. What, you not ordering up a new Rolls Royce? I think the legacy of the Lucas electrics will live on for a long time! Yet I was surprised to see the Mini Cooper go to BMW! Seems they lost out on that! We are seeing those Smart Cars here now! What a joke! Seems they are offering up Triumph motorbikes! Look sweet!
  17. Obviously I will need to post some updated pics, yet it seems I have few over the time. Mush was just a work in slow progress, including a change in the pair of wings, as the original ones from this were unsatisfactory due to mods and repairs. The stripping and revamp of the new set along with the controls and fuel system was a major setback and time element, yet long hard nasty work ovet time prevailed, and this last year all the wing main components including control surfaces were finished and painted! As it is once again winter, I am reminded of the last winter, when I spent much time doing upside down chores under the instrument panel and radios, which now are working as well! I'll get some more modern pics, as things are coming together now! In the last few weeks much has occured including installation of the wings and controls, rigging and even fresh fuel in the tanks with a run of the motor and taxi tests! WOW!
  18. As I don't really do the BLOG thing, I was spending a major part of the day today doing some major revamps on the computer in the shop, including a new hard drive install which takes forever! Transferring a lot of bits and such, I was looking at the piccie file and came across one which I shall post from mid '05 showing my ongoing Cessna project! By this point, I had been on it for a while as the motor had been revamped and the fuselage had been stripped and the base white applied. Many other repairs done along the way including new glass! Ready for striping! As all things done as a labor of love in what spare time one can muster, about two years on into the project after taking weekends off to ride!! Things go slowly when off time is few!
  19. Surprized a bit here, as you must be in a purely wet(no dust) environment! The fine summer dust here would saw a piston set in half! The oil is your "catch" for the finer particles!
  20. Yes, the burgers suck, but you can still get the fries!
  21. He he! Not a word about either of the *******s, I promise! Heath has been an inspiration! A wealth of Beta BS, and other trivia! I am already working on my own web presence. I need to do much more to promote trials, so I am calling mine "Fu2 Trials" Think I will sponsor a few riders with this as well!
  22. You see, there is a simple and realistic reality to it all. It seems that many years ago the Japaneese, then the Koreans, next China, started flooding the markets with cars of all types! Almost too many makes and models to list! This diluted the manufacturing in the UK, then others followed, even the Germans are now hard pressed! I know noone that can afford them here! Exporting of jobs and industry and parts has diluted things further! When will people finally realize that if they do not support their own economy first, they will have little else? I read this many years go, yet cannot recall the origin. Still holds true! The wealth of nations is(are) based upon its(their) natural assets. Go figure! Mineral, aggricultural, whatever! If all our money keeps going east, they will soon be the ones with it all. If you are daft enough to think that just because Honda or Toyota builds an assembly plant in you country for your good, think again! The profits are NOT!
  23. There is a small group that usually rides Saturdays, weather permitting, at Lake Brigeport, closer, about an hour away, good place to ride! Ill see if I can find the directions! Cliky link For a recent set of directions. Take 380 west from McKinney to Biidgeport. Mind you, you are going to LAKE Bridgeport! FM 1658is basically the first right past Bridgeport! You will still need to stop and pay at the Twin Hills store on the right, as the property entrance is accross the road on the left! Eddy will give you a good workout for sure!
