Not sure where you are located, but would ckeck with RYP in the US as they may have them?
-
Need to shut up, na! Cheers, Merry X-mas!
-
Funny you mention that , as I was speaking with the driver for the Dodge Motorsports rig for the Baja 1000 this week! Seems there is no budget for them next year either!
These are the Rad Big Rigs of trucks! Costs a fortune to run that stuff!
Of course ,possibly this explains why Pastrana's Scooby trailer is just setting next door to my shop?
-
Seems to be the case! i have been confused as well from both seat of the pants and reports!
Personally, I think one would be better off to dump the switch totally, go to base timing, and adjust accordingly if needed!

What Baldi is saying is 'they sound like a friggin rattlecan'--normal! Drives me nuts!
Enjoying your kicker Baldi?

Even a skinny Spanyard nik"The Destroyer' could not do damage to one of them things!
-
Yes, I had a fellow tell me that the litle pumps were few and fer between nowdays, cannot find replacements!
Think they required some sort of block off plate possibly, cannot recall.

Is this supposed to be funny?
No, I know who you are talking about, cannot recall his name?
I had longer hair than that!!!!!!!!!!
-
Yea, looks like it is flat on top, Zipper is safe!
Looks like you have some real logs already!
Show the kid how to do it , Biff!
-
And they will go union soon so we cannot afford them!
-
You noticed that too, along with my question!
Hey, MarkyBoy never answered my question either! I think!

I think the 6004 bearing is common in the modern bikes and can take a pounding. Hopefully you can find an off the shelf axle long enough to work as I do believe these are hardened alloys. The Sherco uses a straight shaft for example. The assembly is fairly wide to accomodate the disk and such. One could cut one down if needed and rethread! At a quick measure, the shaft seems just over 9 inches including the threads.

Gawd I hate it when you do that Addict! I first must look up words which refer then to Oprah Winfrey, thin I find oothers like this!
"Eurgh look Shaz, thats right minging, innit?"

Good link DF! Tony knows his stuff!
As he has brought thing out here that others(myself included) have not gone into on our brief posts, we are in agreement on most things it seems!
His stuff is precious! Mine is not! Yet mine is many times a tradeoff! The "Bayou Mud' is nothing as compared to Muenster Mud! Highly corrosive iron content and you just need to get it off, now! By whatever means, and a soft wash will not suffice! The stuff is soo fine you will be picking it out your eyes , ears and a*** after a week of showers! Tony, don't go there!
As a note, I do seem to be having some luck on the wheels, using the DC-111(silecon) compound! Seems coating the threads and nips prior to install is keeping corrosive moisture out of the wheel for the most part. A real pain to do initially!
Cheers,

Yep, even caught Big Johns eye! I just think it a shame that one cannot really just go out and purchase a nice little bike like this any longer.
Even if you managed to build one up, most would afraid to really ride it for fear of damage.
The pity of it all has been stated. You can build anything of any quality you like in China, just costs a bit more, as the technology is there.
Yet they continue to send out a lot of cheap worthless junk not worth having in some cases. A total waste of time and materials! Yet at the same time, nobody will invest in a quality product to market!
An as such, the old and proven technology is lost in favor of ever cheaper and replaceable junk!
And I will go so far to say that the current economy reflects it as a whole. Folks are conserving for quality needs as compared to spending on more junk!

Looke as though she is selling Don Joy knee braces! A good pick for any brand!

Funny how this stuff works. Seems if you plug in a Microsoft wireless mouse(which I did) there is a conflict that disallows the screensaver and power settings.
There is a patch on the microsoft site.

You must be a TC supporter to post directly, otherwise you must link to a host site.

It is usually neccessary to adjust the spring after it settles.
I run mine to where the rear will settle about 20-30mm under its own weight(bike only, no rider).
This could require 3 or more turns of the adjuster ring.
-
Reports on this are very few, but the stator has been reported? Makse little sense to me but the electrics can do odd things!
I would check the flywheel keyway first, your backing(stator) plate for security, then call Steve at UK Motoplat!
-
I figured as much for him, good guy! You should take advantage of that! Maybe he will get the little one an OSET for Chrimbo! That you can all ride!
