  5. And a prime reason wifey NEVER asks me to go!
  6. There you go! Good stuff you see! We always need more on this thread, not to be afraid, as there is no perfection, only the eye of the beholder! Personal pics of normal folk at club events are always missed it seems. As many just like a simple and good photo! While the action is secondary, mostly. Check out linkywww.ntxtrials.com for a few others I sen in along with a group from the webmaster. Just good club stuff I think! Sadly, I missed the AM riders this day, as they would have liked the same, but usually, I am riding the hard line in the AM anyway, so cannot do both.
  7. Seen one in the flesh last week, I think it is most aptly referred to as functional beauty when you look at things from more of an engineering point of view. Although it may not quite match the previous versions sheer Itialian busty style, she is a skinny girl ready for a bit of action!
  8. Yousee, this is what is normally referred to as a joke or pun, as you will find that the Baja peninsula(where they race the Baja event) is rather far from the UAE it seems. So the high fees in the UAE are---------------- nevermind!
  9. If you pay your membership pittance, you can load them directly!

    3.2 Vs 2.9

Maybe you should instruct Caby on all this newly found info? Bou may need some tips on the big bore 4T as well! Adam will be OK for now, I think!
  11. I hate to tell you this , but you are taking some Arab stick in the rear here! They are nowhere near Baja! Next thing they will want to charge you extra for fuel! Never ends! Screw them!
  12. I want one of them lightweight helmets!

Yea, but I also know how they operate, and do not tell! Things just progress! And retain the replacement part number! Ryan was the one who mentioned it to me, yet I have no idea if fact or fiction, as all off the record. The was a real change from the '03-'04, of a couple mm in the link! I still have the old one! Did not make the shock any better, as they were good but slow and non adjustable. Inverting the shock in the latter years has led to direct exposure to the shaft and seals, where as the earlier models did not have to contend with this as much, and I have considered this to be an issue. And although I have been lazy, development of a proper deflector was on my list early on, as I have always considered it an issue. And still not quite sure why they must be inverted? Possibly the "crap runs downhill" theory?
  14. If that is the case(same size) then they should at least be available under the Sherco part number I would think? May pay a premium through the importers, but? Worth checking I would think.
  15. Is it best to use one or two, or three or four? Is that why the pro's use the long levers! Seriously though, I am still running 2 springs out of the clutch, takes abit of getting used to, but light and sweet with the light oil. Running the Merc fully synthetic ATF. Not for all, but certainly reduces the stress!
  16. No, but the current joke is he is going to send me to University!!

    Uh Oh!

His request approved, the Fox News photographer quickly used a cell phone to call the local airport to charter a flight. He was told a twin engine plane would be waiting for him at the airport. Arriving at the airfield, he spotted a plane warming up outside a hanger. He jumped in with his bag, slammed the door shut, and shouted, 'Let's go'. The pilot taxied out, swung the plane into the wind and took off. Once in the air, the photographer instructed the pilot, 'Fly over the valley and make low passes so I can take pictures of the fires on the hillsides.' 'Why?' asked the pilot. 'Because I'm a photographer for Fox Cable News,' he responded. 'And I need to get some close up shots.' The pilot was strangely silent for a moment, finally he stammered, 'So, does this mean you are NOT my flight instructor?'
  18. Did you guys manage to fend off all the muslems immigrents? I seem to recall something from the PM telling them to FO? Seems to me they are a bit thwarted with them in the UK and France! Hell, most everything here is currently written in Spanish(Mexican) as it seems we must become bilingual to accommodate them, many(read most) whh are or were illegal to begin with! Then we must support them with tax dollars! You cannot have medical here unless you pay extra! All the tax dollars go to the illegals! And deadbeats!
  19. Agreed, as the steel caged bearing from a quality manufacturer may actually be better!

    Serow Trials

I know I started this stupid thread jokingly! But Jon, I seen this friggin honda something 220, 215, 225, last weekend(trail bike) and fact is the motor seemed much more accomodating and smaller! Still had no kicker! Maybe time to start over? To be honest, the XT (Serow) seems to do well on the roads, but in the rough, it seems to be a real pig! I wish you could buy a old Yamaha 2T enduro in 175 or 250!, somewhere around "75 vintage!

    2000 1.25

Which unit is it? A Ducati? I had a link to some Vespa parts supplier that seemed to use the same things, cannot find it now, but should be somewhere in the old posts. You may have to doo a web search on it!

And as compared to the stock unit? I was told the rear delta link changed again in the '09, not sure just how much? Any testing on that? I did ride one off new, felt really good!
  23. The kits are cheap, call your dealer or Rising Sun!
  24. Should be the standard 6004 2RS, think I recall Motomerlin listing them, I'll PM you another link to a quick supplier as well. Oh, nevermind, you are in the US, so you will not get them next day from them anyway. Try O'Rileys!
  25. Not sure if Rlracer will pick up on this soon, if not PM him, as he has the goods on these and some trick parts info!
