  1. What if I told you I could get you a new Ohlins for your bike and with a spring for your weight for about $700? PM me
  2. OK, I will tell you! Because here in the good old USA, we are not running NO STOP rules! The US National riders have not asked for that to happen! The US National riders are comprised of a handful of top riders(like WTC), along with a great support class in age groups and ability! If they do not have an issue with it then neither should you! Go ride some of the events if you are concerned about it, as they have a twinshock class now! And if it bothers you that badly, just go run your wizzer in that other pitiful group that runs no stop events! In Nationals, they are on a timer! If they wish to use that time as they like, that is up to them!

    Graphics?

Yea, just because Lineaway is a New Mexican and I am a Texican, that DrBalls hillbilly fella thinks we are ass holes just trying to help when it was Admin Andy who p****d him off. Yep, he is a proper Scott, not a limey, and he has a Kilt! And an attitude! And a ****!
  4. If you rode a modern bike on some of the stuff here, you would understand! If riding ITSA on the TLR, you would not!

    Graphics?

The thing you need to grasp is the fact that Sherco USA is the importer on this side of the pond and all things Sherco go through them. They also handle S3 stuff, all of which can also be obtained by(through)your local dealer whom you should likely meet! They typically carry common stuff you may need and are closer by and may be of great assistance if needed! Support your local! Cost is the same! There are not a lot of options on Sherco graphics, only other major one I can think may be Jitsie. Not sure if any stock them here, possibly Lewissport, but likely you would order from UK supplier otherwise. If you just must have that custom look!
  6. If engine stalled, no support other that tires! You may restart if balanced, not on skidplate as support or dab!
  7. The pump should spin all the time. It is directly geared to crankshaft! If not, gear or something is stripped and slipping.
  8. Clutches can stick like chuck if left sit too long. Never trust them! I mean never! At very least place the bike in 4th gear and sit on the bike rocking fore and aft with lever pulled in to break them loose prior to starting! Never seen one run backwards either unless the woodruff key was sheared possibly, but who knows?! If woodruff is ok and top mark on stator plate is aligned with top edge of case web, you likely need a stator plate.
  9. The key to riding the 300 is to never go past half throttle!
  10. Ryan said every US title had been won on Dunlops for umpteen years! I do not doubt it after seeing Aaron on a practice tire that was soo bad I would not bother to take to the dumpster, I would just burn it right there on the spot! And still outride them all! Just nuts!
  11. Best bike ever, ride it like you stole it! I hope you did!
  12. Ck it often, 2-3 times a day!
  13. If you have gotton air in the damper you neen to stroke the rod untill you get it all worked out, then compress the fork to ck level. Guide here! http://www.splatshop.co.uk/blog/ Scroll down the page a bit.
  14. And that's because it is 250, with real torque! On 125 it is all revs and go! The bit larger carb may do a bit more, but they are a pain for the conversion and I would not recco unless possibly for a top rider! Are you hearing, Ben?
  15. I keep this in office to remind myself of things! It is a squirrel with a heart on!
  16. The guy going don't ride, not like they have time! I seen the itinerary and it is wall to wall 14 hrs a day with few breaks! I could not do that myself, specially there in Jan! I am like a cat, I cannot walk on snow! it hurts! It is a weird thing, but "up north" to us Texans means Oklahoma, possibly even Colorado for to see that stuff! Then we go home! They do not even have decent Mexican food in CO, so why go further? Out here on the perimeter we is stoned, immaculate! Just wait to see the next crap break! Just like you!
  17. Funny you say that, as last week I got called in the office at work with the DM, and was told that one of my guys had won a "Top Tech" award and was the winner of a three day trip and tour to De Twa for a tour of several of the Chrysler facilities including the wind tunnel and training and design, bla,bla bla, and one factory.. I told them, he may not go! He came in, was presented the trip, smiled ans said thank you! Next day he came in and said "no way I am going to that **** hole in the middle of January!" find someone else! They did not even bother to ass me, (cannot figure why) so we gave it to another guy so he can pay the taxes on the W2 they will send him for a trip to the De Twa Hilton! By the time they finish it will cost him $500 I bet!
  18. That looks like hell!
  19. Biff works for Ford! They suck!
  20. Jeez lad, must you really, and with an unknown guts in it? How much? I have a good one with little use I can send if needed. The cables are a bit different length as well unless you modify the adapter off a dellorto which is a pain, so the correct cable is best.

    Frame Damage

It means the area has been stressed, not necessarily cracked or broken. Ali is a great material in that respect as it will flex and come back, at least once or twice! If unsure, overly concerned, fix would be grind the anodize off and run a bead of reinforcement weld around it is it is that critical of a point.
