  1. Welcome Roberto... wish I could be there riding in Spain with ya!!. welcome to Trials Central.
  2. its a kit for the 125 only,(I think) I remember reading it was a new mid exhaust and a couple other bits and pieces, and the price was AMAZING...it must have been VERY heavily subsidised from Beta or something, coz I remember reading it was amazing value.

Only just looked closely at your avatar Marky....love it....now I have 2 females in the house..(wife and baby girl)...it takes HOURS to get out the house...oh my god..doesnt it just wear you down!!!!!!!!!
  4. Might sound rediculous, but to me, one of the most interesting bits, is how you get around this rubber problem. Im sure the carb would be good for me, but I definately dont want one thats a pain in the **** to remove, especially if I spend all that dosh on a carb. A closer look at how it all works/fits on the 125 would be the way to go I guess.
  5. Woops...sorry guys...thought that might rattle a few cages. I know my chat might have sounded negative, but that still aint MANY trials in one year eh! Mal?? I know Andy and the Wye Valley put a terrific classic series together last year, I even observed at one...and what a terrific success they were!! I just cant see why there aint a comp every MONTH in Herefordshire? Thanks for the info on the practice places though Mal. At least I wont have to travel all the way to Bewdley or even further anymore. On a brighter note, and one that ...ahem..I should have mentioned earlier, it does seem that there is alot of effort going in to one of the local clubs, so hopefully there will be more events this year. Didnt mean and badwill guys, you know me, all I want is to see trials, trials and more trials, for everyone to enjoy...and yes, i'll happily put the work in when there is some to be done. HAPPY NEW YEAR
  6. Aww..thanks, thats very good of you, and on another occasion I might take you up on it, but since Ive got a days practice organised, I'll stick with that...thanks again though. I'm also aware that some people take the classic word a bit seriously, and for that reason, I dont want to appear on a modern bike and upset anyone. see you soon though!
  7. OK...so Im not a great rider, but personally, I dont notice ANY improvement in my MUD riding when I use an IRC...I'm crap in mud on both Michelins AND IRC's. Now I await a barrage of adverse opinions, since I know everyone says IRC is better in the mud.....but there we go..just thought Id get off the fence for a mo., and make life more interesting
  8. no..its just that everyone is too jealous to reply!!! I guess if I had the cash I would definately do the change if only coz the 07 LOOKS so good,.....BUT...to be completely honest with you, I now ride an 05, and I dont reckon its any better than my previous 02!!.....but, with that comment, you must factor in that a. Im only a clubman rider b. my 05 is a 270 and my 02 was a 250, and I think the 250 suits me better...and c. my 02 had no flywheel weight on it, I havent had any time to remove the one on my 05 yet, but when I do, i think i will like it alot more. WHATEVER... go for it!..you never no when the missus will be so obliging again eh!!!
  9. Hi Dougle, Yep, its me!!..and yep, I moved. Its rather strange up here as far as I can see so far...(hopefully Im not about to offend anyone). This is my take on Herefordshire so far......BUGGER all trials....and really sad since there are some great possible venues. There is a small ammount of classic trials happening but nothing really in the modern scene. Also, even more depressing is there appears to be NOWHERE to practice! BUT...luckily, although sometimes it still seems a bit far,...there are alot of clubs and good events in the Gloucester/cheltenham/stroud area...and there are alot of good events in the South Shropshire area. There are also alot of good events/venues in Wales, both central and southern. SO...I suppose to summerise..(and dont forget I havent been here long)...it seems that every single place that BORDERS Hereford has good events, but like I said before, in Herefordshire itself, basically NADA!!! An event(s) that I've heard would be well worth you travelling for is in May??..in Foel?? Forest, organised by the LLanfylin club.(check it out on their website)...they have this huge lap trial in the forest and have two smaller trials either side of it, making a kind of 3 day event that apparently is really really good. Hope to see you then if not before!! Tone, and Scorpa3... hope to see you there on SUnday maybe?? Can give you the phone number too, if you need it Tone. Oh!..one more thing about riding up here Doogle. Unfortunately, alot of clubs dont do a 50/50 thing like in the SOuth Midlands, which is a real shame coz it really suited me well. Although, most events up here, (particularly some of the Gloucester ones) seem harder, I do SOMETIMES find myself a bit between the clubman route and expert route, but Im DEFINATELY not good enough to always try the expert route....heee-heee...and before anyone says it...yes, sometimes not even good enough for the CLUBMAN route!!!!!!!
  10. Would love to...but I cant 'cause its only for classic bikes...boo..never mind, Im off practising instead. Have a good day Mal and bo drinker (Andy?)...and go easy with that angle grinder Mal
  11. bugger...wish I hadnt missed your call yesterday now Tone... hope you have a good day... If you feel like going again on Sunday..let me know, and I'll join u. Theres bugger all on up here on SUnday...other than classic trials...seems like theres more of them than anything else up here.
  12. Good to see you too Marky. I reckon Pitley is well jealous of your Yam though Marky...so you better bring it more dirty next time!!!...and with a bit of PINK on it!
  13. boofont...isnt it the same thing though????...you could still 5 a section through running out of fuel even if you leave your bike always in the reserve position??
  14. COme on betarev3...what happened so far?...sorry, I know it might be a bit soon..but cant wait to hear how you go with it. Would be nice if someone made a hose that fits it better eh!
  15. Actually, my brother keeps threathening to do it out in the colours of his business... bubbles bubbles everywhere....pitley knows what I mean
  16. Alright, Alright... bloomin 'eck..you nag me more than the dragon does. Anyway...job done. See you on Boxing Day......get that PINK bike of yours ready to show the modern ones the way again.
  17. Hiya Gaz, theres a trial near Crossgates at Werngoch sp off A483 LLandrindod to Crossgates road 10.30am Hope to see you there. MERRY XMAS
  18. Hiya... wish Id known about that a bit earlier...unfortunately Ive arranged to do the Mid Wales one on 26th, and I dont reckon I can get released by the missus to ride for 2 days... never mind...see you next time...oh! and Merry Xmas...STU
  19. betarev3...will be very interested to read your comments on the dellorto. Ive been threatening to buy one of them for years..cant really afford it now, but Id really like to try one. Funnily enough, and Im sure this is only a coincidence, its only the 270 rev 3's ive owned that ever leek. The 250 I had never dropped a bit from day one, and I never did anything other than clean the carb.
  20. Will the full results ever show up on line??...I forgot to give an envelope to the club so I dont expect ill get any results in the post. Mind you...its probably best that I dont know my score anyway Betarev3...see you next time...sounds like you were going too quick to see me anyway.
  21. Hope you saw my first lap on the hill climb then, coz I didnt make it for the next two laps!!...Had a really fun day, and the newly fixed broken hand held out just fine. Thanks to all the organisers...really good day, and very friendly club. Look forward to the next one.
  22. Thanks guys,.. used the rack today to do the Stratford trial..(which was very good by the way...but VERY muddy)...the venue was about 75 miles for me and the rack was fine, so now I feel a bit more confident about it. Gotta say I really miss my van though...that is definately the best way..just cant afford a car AND van at the mo.
