Whilst we're on the clothing issue. On several videos I've seen Joe Baker wearing trousers that go over the top of his boots...and i THINK they are XCting ones???????????? I really like the idea of trousers that go over the boots...dont ask me why..just kind of prefer it. But..I'm wondering...where d'ya get 'em...and more importantly..do they still have a bit of padding in the knee/shin area?...(especially important for me 'cause I fall off alot).. Hope someone can enlighten me

Mmm...thanks PA...looks like it was only the rubber that changed then?...thats good news. On further inspection, the one on my 02 looks the same as the one on my 03, BUT the 03 one looks thinner!!!...will try to remember to measure them next time I'm with the bikes..and let you know.

Dont know much myself...sorry..but I guesss you've thought of the obvious, swapping the parts from a mates bike, untill you find which one aint working??? Do you have a mate there with the same bike? GOod luck...I'm sure you'll get some better/more informative replies on here soon.

Mmmm...thanks clarkp. will be interesting to see the replies on this one. Of course on one hand it doesn't matter, if I just order one and state the year of my bike, but its interesting (to me)...and HOPEFULLY to others, what parts can be swapped around on the Revs. Particularly for me since I'm lucky enough (ahem..rather ashamed to say this)...to own 2 Revs....mind you, they are both a bit old and bashed about now! I THINK the 02 and 03 are the same,..(and I suspect the 01 also)..but you might have a point with the 04 and 05

Hi all, Just wondered. I'm thinking of putting a new bash plate on my Rev3....current one has been WELL bashed SO..the question is. Are all the Rev3 bash plates the same??....It looks to me like they are..but I know the rubber has changed in recent years. Cheers in advance for any help

I've got an 02 Rev3 which I've now ridden 184 times...on average about 2 and a half hours per ride (you can do the maths) Anyway..to get to the point, I've had NO problems with any electrics. Very rarely ride in the wet here, if that makes any difference....mostly dry and dusty. I would still give the Rev a try if I was you!

Sorry,,just realised I went off topic a bit. WOuld be nice to see Fuji have a home win again, but I reckon it might not happen. Next year will probably be more relevant in comparing the 2 strokes and fours??...I guess everything will be alot more sorted by then?? (thats my humble opinion...and I dont know much)..so please dont get upset anyone!
