I too went to the motorcycle show, got a BMW 1150GS Adventure as my second toy. The road bike market is massive, with thousands of pounds being pumped in to R&D from the big manufacturers. On top of this the millions of bikers that have road bikes world wide, to purchase not only the bikes but the aftermarket goodies and clothing. Now compare that to the trials importer, very small market, not the number of people following it. Is it worth him spending thousands of pounds on a stand at the NEC for what is prodominently the road bike market, yes you might get a few people saying I wouldn't mind a go at that, but would they go out and buy the latest '06 machinery.....I think not. I am sure you won't see the Harley Davison at the ''Stonleigh Show''

Sandifords web site news article posted 30/9/05 reported the new '06 model would be in the dealers in 3 to 4 weeks, which is 3rd or 4th week in October Now it is 1st week in November and still no news. Anyone got any gossip they want to tell me, as my bike for part ex has been prepped to hand to the dealer for 2 weeks now, and still no news I am a patient person, but I know of people who have ordered from dealers and are already fed up of waiting, having sold their old bikes. beta_basher, you are obviously quite active on the forums, and have been asking how much for your bike etc. etc. need to buy a 125 to compete in youth trials etc. etc. Now you are thinking of buying a Montesa , which only come in a 250cc capacity...........unless you know different and one has been sleeved down to 125cc People will try and help you with your decission, but I think you need to decide firstly on what size engine you need and your budget, then people may give you some decent advice Of course you need to sell the Beta first

Well off to bike show next weekend at NEC (other bike BMW 1150 GS Adventure..Mmmmmmmmmmmmm), so no trial. Just spent all day cleaning and servicing the BETA ready for part ex for my 4RT, hopefully in the next 2 weeks, or am I being ambitious. Anyway not going to get it dirty again, had a smile on my face when cleaning the carb thinking that is the last time I do that job for a long time So next outing is 4 stroke, can't wait
