Baldilocks has a point any of us could enter all the WTC and come 14th or 15th in the World I doubt any sponsors will be willing to invest in us? Comparing it to F1 albeit comparing numbers in the top of a Motorsport is the only similarity? The car sitting at the back of the grid at every F1 this season will be running probably a million pound budget how many of the top 10 in the world of trials make money out of the sport? Probably the same number back in the 70's and 80's but with a lot more people competing. Maybe if the FIM want more people to compete then they are looking at ways to do this, no stop may have worked but in reality it never was with modern bikes sections and riders/observers perception of what is actually a stop? The other way to go is limit it to numbers through a qualifying process and make it an elite sport, but you would need some serious sponsors and backers? I suppose the sport to look at is downhill mountain biking lots of entrants and the sport, sponsors, spectators etc. are huge

Probably plenty of venues and clubs in the uk have the a land capable of holding a WTC round, but as it has been said the the list of implementations that the FIM need nowadays from health and safety, WiFi, Insurance etc. then the trucks and the circus that follow these teams now plus the whole financial outlay it would be a brave man that would take it on and have the facilities to cope?

I read JS write up and he also suggests a change of venue? This has been discussed before and the venue ain't the only problem, who would want to take the financial liability on, with spectators down this year the organisers would be wondering if the books would balance! According to 2015 dates it will be Penrith again? Any volunteers?

Lot of people take their side stand off I have done for years, always a tree or a rock to lean the bike against. Only ever put it back on for the SSDT and in all fairness that causes more problems sometimes to get the bike stood up in Park Ferme after the Scottish rockery did its best at modify it??

I tell you what it will have, 2 wheels, hardly any seat, two brakes front & Back, off road tyres, and all the common traits of a modern trials bike the rest is speculative if it is innovative then we will have to wait and see?

Looking at the pictures from Barcelona I bet it was hard to get a ticket to watch?? The place is empty and it has been said that indoor is what people want sitting in a warm arena watching the 'Dynamic' sport of trials. Looks like the WTC both Indoor & Outdoor will implode? Do you think Toni will bunk up to our club trial

If the rules were changed to suit Honda (some conspiracy theory by the way) yet Raga on the 2 stroke Gasser was closer then he has been then your opinion is flawed? I do agree Andrew that the WTC is a shambles, but that does affect me or most people on here? Apart from the top few there is no money in it for them, so they move on to work for a living or ride extreme Enduro's and that is the reality!

It has been said elsewhere it is a ''Home Grown Rider'' and both the riders are regular WTC top 10 competitors? So my vote goes with Challoner as I believe Dibs & Pune are in contract, but that means nowt
