Just got back from sheffield had a great time. Shame about Dougie (felt gutted for him) he just didnt seem comfortable on the mont no match for a two stroke.Still maybe things might improve as time goes on.

g4321 spoke to Tim at gordon farleys today to ask him if the countershaft on my 250 tlr is a 200tlr one he said it is.He also said just because some parts are know classed by honda as obsolete some motorbike shops have still got some original parts in stock.

Gordon farleys rebuilt the engine and i think the countershaft is for a tlr 200.

Honda tlr 250 has cost me including buying the bike over

I repack my sons rev 80 about every six to seven weeks. This seems to keep it quiet and running nice. I also put some silicone sealer around the end caps when i reasemble the silencer this helps keeps water out.

Sounds like there may be something wrong with your bike a 125 should pull from the bottom end no problem.A 250 may get you into more trouble in sections. Like MAC said try another 125 before you get a 250.

I thought the I.R.C works better in the mud because the gaps between the nobbles on the tyre are wider apart than mitchelin ect.ect.
