All very unsatisfactory and a bad way to finish in all respects. Sad day when importers fall out in public. I think I'll take up fishing.....mind you I'l be ***** at that too
-
Yep...apparently Gas Gas are going to show Ossa how to build an indestructable gear box and rear wheel hubs
-
Because they have no imagination.....anyway shouldn't you be revising?
-
£440 entry fee plus bed & breakfast accommodation, plus bike prep (I spent a grand on this but the bike was 18 moths old), plus extra riding gear (goretex essential), plus diesel (there and back plus support crew dashing round), plus food and drink.....£2,500 should just about cover it if you do it on the cheap. If you insist on Hotel accoomodation, add another £1,000 for two people....

Araldite works for me....just got to keep your eye on it. I rode on an Araldite repair for over a year (20+club trials) with no probs. Goes eventually but repaired it again and still OK to this day (gas gas 250 raga)

Weigh-in Sunday 6th May, 1st Day Monday 7th May....
-
IMHO the start is better than the end if you've only a couple of days to spare...Sunday weigh in followed by Monday at Leanachen in the morning and Lagnaha (Kentallen) in the afternoon is brill. Best day for me has always been "road race day" on Friday and the sections are all (fairly) close to the road. Camping at Ben Nevis is top notch and am always amazed how many silly f***kers climb at night!
-
I'll throw this out for discussion....France finish 3rd in X trial indoor; French populate top places in all classes of Euro Rounds....what's the secret?
-
Exactly...be interesting to see the Stewards reports?
-
I fear a Bemrose moment....especially if champ runners have got away with exclusion
-
Always assuming that the finishing times are true....uncanny how so many managed to finish bang on 20 minutes late
-
Looks bizzare on the results sheet I agree, but even more bizzare that no-one was excluded when it was bleeding obvious on the day that quite a few should have been...in fact it looks like 56 riders out of a total entry of 120 were exactly 20 minutes late...I don't think so!
-
Oi, knob head, since you haven't responded to my last post...please respect the club, officials, 275 riders and thousands of fans who want this trial to continue
-
Oi knob head....read this

As per topic title...before I set-to can someone give me a clue as to which part(s) of the trank need modifying. I've borrowed a tank from someone who has allegedly modified it to fit a 2011 model but top airbox retaining screws are making imprints in the plastic, the back of the tank won't fit under the front of the air box properly (makes the front of the tank sit high) and the underside looks like it might be pushing down on the rad filler cap when the tank retaining bolt is tightened up. Cheers in advance

Sam Haslam on a JLI Beta too....what's going on?
-
Riders list for this years SSDT shows Ross Danby eneterd on a Jotogas....have we missed a press release?
-
My experience with Gas Gas UK has been nothing other that first class service. A couple of weekends ago I went to stock up ready for the lads SSDT excursion and needed a replacement water pump seal. Surprisingly they were out of stock, but on Monday morning I got a text from Kev saying he had a spare in the workshop from Browney's bike and it arrived in the post the next day. They have always sold ex-demo's and supported riders bikes. You can pick up a new bike direct from GG UK but the sale usually goes through a dealers books.

DVLA website says "After passing the standard motorcycle practical test, you will be restricted for two years to riding a bike of up to 25 kW and a power/weight ratio not exceeding 0.16 kW/kg. After this you may ride any size of bike"
How many kW does a 280/290/300 2T trials bike kick out? Given the weight of most modern trials bikes (70kg ish), to pass the 0.16kW/kg measure the bike can't kick out more than 11kW?
