  1. Many breakers on ebay.
  2. The issue is the use of the title 'pre 65' It was broken years ago, now it is just a joke.
  3. Can I ask how many of the parts on one of these bikes is actually 'pre 65'?
  4. Not a twinshock but an air cooled 4rt!
  5. Welcome back, good choice of machinery!
  6. 4stroke replied to thall1's topic in Montesa
Probably of no use what so ever but my Tlr did a similar thing on tick over and it turned out to be a bent exhaust valve!
  7. Mr Cabestany didn't win when he had a go so would Bou and Raga find it so easy?
  8. My Sidi boots feel quite heavy, anyone know which trials boots are the lightest?
  9. 4stroke replied to joelewis's topic in Honda
I don't think you have got the front pipe quite right Joe!!
  10. The Tlr and Seeley exhaust back boxes are mounted on opposite sides of the bike. Tlr left, Seeley right. If you are going to fit a WES from a Tlr it will need to flipped from left to right. It may be easier to modify a DEP system to fit. (and cheaper) You can also fit a Tlr header pipe to match up with the DEP.
  11. The standard bikes had an auto system fitted. When you put pressure on the kick start the exhaust valve would be opened. I use a finger operated lever to do the same. Takes a lot of strain from the starter gears, shaft and kicker.
  12. Do you have the decompressor fitted and working? Saves the kick starter and gears.

Nice to meet up Joe, very impressed!
  14. 200 and 250 hubs are different so may not work. (mine is a 250)
  15. Just because it has two shocks doesn't mean it started life as a twinshock, hence the Kia series engine rule!

    I have made contact, cheers!

    Looking good Joe!

Me too, how do we do it?

The bike might look good in the photo's but it would not be allowed to enter 'Air cooled mono class' at our National Twinshock series as only minor frame mods allowed!
  20. I still find IRC hard to beat.
  21. The Tlr needs a lot of tinkering to get right and the Seeley was spot on straight out of the box. From new the Seeley was under powered for big trials back in the day so the ultimate for me would be to put the Tlr250 motor in the Seeley chassis. Sorted.

You will probably need the 50's as the Tlr's tend to sit low at the rear, this also makes the steering head angle even more 'relaxed' I'm similar weight to you and use 50's.
  23. Albert higher than No6, surely?
  24. I recently fitted adaptors and fat bars. I am 6' so the extra rise suites me fine.
  25. Just a thought, how does Sam's original Ariel compare to modern versions? Have the machines moved on so much that even GOV132 would now struggle.
