Incidentally, my current SWM was previously owned by Martin Lampkin, registration starts TWW from memory.

I had a pair on a 1980 SWM, expensive at the time, yes, good no. Standard gas girlings were better. 2stroke/4stroke on here has a pair.

Any 125 is going to be "modest" in the power department.

Do what works best for you, I rode with a thumb throttle recently for the first time, ever - hated it.

Stop and Balance = 0 Start to lose balance, drop clutch then argue you were moving, not really a solution .

Non of the better riders ever wore gloves, or a helmet, because you couldn't feel/hear the engine either !!!!!!

The gear box sprocket position cant move relative to the engine, so the engine must still be offset ? The problem with engines like the cub, b40 etc is they were not designed to run with 4.00 tyres.

Is the ty a reed valve ? Surly exhaust resonance has no effect beyond that ?

Excellent trial, as said fantastic piece of land. Great training for the pre 65 !!
