Worth checking float level anyway as they don't to be set "consistently"
Also a heat shield will improve hot starting if you havnt fitted one already.

Hi Brian, you sure timing is right ?
Have you cleaned the carb ? Also have you checked the float level, I have a adapter for the drain plug if you need it.

Trouble is some riders will have ridden the section non stop and possibly suffered because of making a genuine attempt, how does "consistently wrong" benefit them ?

If this years pre 65 didn't cause it a problem, and it didn't - what conditions are you riding in ?
I use chain saw air filter oil, suspect that it will absorb less water than a paper element.

I started taking Glucosamine Glucosamine Sulphate 2KC1 1000mg for my knees, but have found my tendonitis to be much improved.

I always tighten then while at about 40psi, probably doesn't make any difference.

What determines spring rate - leverage ratio, rider weight, weight of bike, style/level of riding.

Have you drained the crankcase ? May be a build up of fuel.
Try starting with petrol off, or only on for a short time.
