Not true in my experience, maybe DVLA up here are more helpfull up here.

If it's done the SSDT it is already registered. Contact DVLA and make an appointment for them to inspect it. They will check engine and frame numbers. Assuming original engine and original regiztration number is still available they can reissued it. £25 about 3 years ago. The reg document will also show previous keepers.

Did you measure the wheelbase before and after ? Thinking of pulling the front end in on a SWM.

Had a ride a 348 last week, never really had a shot on one before. I was really impressed with the power, suspension and particularly the way it steered. Footrests are high compared with more modern machines.
Check it doesn't jump out of gear.

Blow tyres up to 20 psi, they don't like trials pressures !

The primary chain alone could stop it turning over, try not to be pesamistic.
