Agree totally with OTF, try one of these with a decent air filter oil (I use Partner Chain Saw oil) should make a differance.

If you reverse a hooked sprocket the teeth get ripped off almost instantly, if there is very slight wear and it is reversed is it OK ?
( It's not quite as worn as in following picture. )

Speedo for a pedalbike will do, either wire or wireless.

Dont know specifically, but why not put wheel in place with axle through and see how the disc lines up ?
It should tell you if spacer is required and position.

Rubber bushes on mine, might not be as good as "heim" when both new, but should last for years and cheap to replace.
