Anybody know if this started out a a disc valve motor ?
-
Hi Reginald, looks piston ported, not disc valve?
-
Swinging arm looks short, in the pictures.

It probably wasn't meant as a "go" at you, but there always is a satisfaction at beating somebody on more modern/trick machinery.
-
Just had a look at Billet Parts new site, good to see Wayne's still making the Amal carb adjusters.
-
Speedo for a pedalbike will do, either wire or wireless.
-
Dont know specifically, but why not put wheel in place with axle through and see how the disc lines up ?
It should tell you if spacer is required and position.
-
Rubber bushes on mine, might not be as good as "heim" when both new, but should last for years and cheap to replace.

Ok, I will answer my own question, the sections would have to change which will make them more ridable.
-
You think they would lay out the same sections as are presently used ?
-
Yes thanks, got my last one's from them but out of stock, so ordered from
http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/

The often used argument is that if you have a modern front end lying about it makes economic sense to use it. However, everyone riding with standard forks then have to go to the considerable time and expense to compete on a level playing field.

BP4ES plugs are hard to come by (unless you know differently)so I was using a Champion N16Y which is the equivalent. Now they seem to be in short supply but I can get N16YC. The question is, although I know the C stands for copper, does it make any difference ?
Thanks

Was wrong, its was Walter Luft and Rotax, but it was Puch who had to give up due to SWM.
Article in Classic Dirt Bike No 16.
Also article on KTM trials in CDM No 18.
