tandon kangaroo
I have owned a tandon kangaroo trials for the last 25yrs it has an early monoshock type rear suspension that is fitted beneath the engine ;just a bolt thro a cylindrical shaped lump of rubber a nice if not crude piece of 50s engineering . Anyway my question is about the fuel tank which is can any one tell me is it supossed to be chromed in any way? cheers

Looks like a poor design, not much meat.
Be very gentle with the replacement !!

All fair points. But do the flashy moves you refer to, conflict utterly with the ethos of the sport ?

Possibly means the autolubs not working anyway. Close call ??

Except the House of Lords.... yet.

Another advantage to pre mix, which Tony mentioned, is that you can set the ratio, as opposed to whatever the the pump was set at. Which was probably nearer to 25:1 in that era.

Hope not, looking forward to another rant !!

Fiddler crab ? Like this ?
Of course in America they must have the clutch on the right !

You must have hands like a bear if you find early eighties clutches suitable in standard form for one finger !!

Was the Bantam engine British ?

Quite common on Bultaco's, timing as said above.
Even more fun when your half way through a section and it does it, well fun for anybody watching.

Have you ever wondered what the difference between Grandmothers and
Grandfathers is?
A friend, who worked away from home all week, always made a morning
available when he would take his 7-year-old granddaughter for a drive
in the car for some bonding time aka, just him and his granddaughter.
One particular Sunday, however, he had a bad cold and just wanted to
stay in bed. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she
would take their granddaughter out in the car.
When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to see how
her Grandfather was.
'Well, did you enjoy your ride with Grandma?'
'Great, Grandpa,' the little girl replied, 'and do you know what?
We didn't see a single t*sser, blind bast*rd, f**k-wit, d*ck-head, A*ian pr*ck, w*nker or a t*wel-head anywhere today!'

You need to spread your wings, must be another event at that time of year that could benefit from your photographic expertise !

A single currency only just works in the UK, I have never been able to understand (but I'm a bit dim)how the euro could possibly work long term.

Thanks John
Still hard to tell, but there is a lady riding no 64, and later on no 102 is recorded going up Devils Staircase, but again I couldn't get the make.
