Yes, I was on the SWM, thoroughly enjoyed the 2 day, had forgotten about the most excellent sandwich van, that's breakfast sorted.
See you there.

It would be interesting to see the results, sure I rode it that year, it was a great run over Schiehallion etc
-
Was anybody ever actually injured, although you can see the potential !

Thanks windlestone

Can anyone tell me what classes are running in this trial ?
Pre 65, Twin Shock, Air Cooled Mono ?
And are any of these pulling a number of entries ?
Thanks

Check the width of the rim before you order the rim lock as they come in two sizes, should be marked on the side , probably 1.85.
Ross
You can get them here

This might be a more realistic/possible challenge :-
-
Two is standard these days, no problem to fit another one, usually about 120 degrees between each rim lock and valve. Look carefully before you drill the rim that it's not at the joint, and also that you will have enough space to get a spanner/socket on the nut.

This from the man the Great Escape copied their trouser pocket linings from !!!
-
He wants space for his own sponsors.
Always thought clothing covered in advertising should be cheaper, some hope !
-
You have been busy, looking good.
How many more hours / days do you recon till its debut ?
Ross

He used to be called Dog Stevens, but changed his name to Yusruf Islam.
-
Have both left & right kickstarts, doesn't bother me at all.
Gearchange / brake takes a little more getting used to.
-
Do you stock them Willie ?
Or how long to get a pair ?
-
Whats the best pads for these ?
Presently using sintered ones which have no feel and little stopping power, but at least they are consistent !
Any clever tricks to improve it ?
Thanks
Ross
-
Thanks Martin (you got the Cq?)
-
Can't think of many / any sport that has made such a fundamental change to its basic rule, ie stopping is a failure.
-
I know most of the names, who are the other gentlemen ?
-
Or one of these

A quote from the Perth Club website :-
"Trials: Meetings were originally held on part on, part off road and covered vast areas including Killin, Kenmore, Aberfeldy, Glen Lyon, Crieff, Methven, Bridge of Earn - in effect all of Perthshire, and a bit more."
How about a twin shock 2-day based on the above.
I would love such an event if it was at all possible !

Just glanced at the above and thought it was commemorating 600 yrs of wa*king !

Whats wrong with having more than one class ?
For arguments sake call them BRITSHOCK, or TRICKSHOCK, or Pre ?????????
