Also try cycle dealers who might have a similar sized bearing

Never gat short sealskins as they are a pain to keep up, only way is to duct tap them to your socks.

Speak to DVLA, surprisingly helpfull. Document V848 "How to register your old vehicle" Also how to obtain an age related plate - give info. You will need a V55/5 form. Also ask for INF34 if your bike is over 25 yrs old. V765 to register under its original no. V100 has a lot of info.

Only if you put it in a vacum bag and dont use it, and keep it for 30 years.

Still use chain wax, which is similar. Even when I boil the chain in the garage the smell gets into the house, really p*ss's my wife off. Reason enough !

Stopped starting, dont you mean it started stopping ! Wheel bearings can be purchased from most bearing shops. Take one along as a sample.

I'm sure it is possible, as I had to do it myself, and was told how to do this by Davie Mowat, who some will remember was a mechanic at Ernie Page's bike shop in Edinburgh.

Parents lived at the bottom of Observatory Road, used to practice wheelies up to Blackford Hill. Rod all over the hill (and the Pentlands) All before there was an environment etc etc.

Unfotunatly I cant remember the details as my memory is sh**e, but I think you replace the bolt, gently kick it over and it will retension. All I do remember is that it is realy simple when you know how !

Apparently the film is available from hot rod memories 818 349 r o d s , in northridge, for twenty bucks (whatever they are) It's probably not as good as I remember it, as I would have been 12 /13 yrs old at the time.
I think there was a different Radar in the film version from the TV version.

It is easy to take the wrong bolt out when trying to drain the oil. You maybe undid the kickstart return spring, from memory you can retension it by putting the bolt back in and rotating the kick start to put tension back into the spring. Cant remember the details but it is really easy to do.

Kt250's had a oil in the swinging arm lub device, it was really good for covering your back wheel rim in oil.

But was there not the original radar ? http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MrNyFAujb3M

We all love to hate them, but just out of interest, has anybody ever heard of them doing something usefull, like catching a car thief / vandal / bag snatcher. They're always there when you dont want them to be, so chances are, they must see alsorts of things !

Little Fauss and Big Halsy does exist if you look up Robert Redford in Wikapedia, but I can find no reference to it anywhere else.
