  1. Got a call from a poultice more likely ?
  2. Says everything about RR' s really, and their audience.
  3. Classic is not defined by age, unfortunately.
  4. Is anybody seriously saying they wouldn't support / buy a bike because the name doesn't translate ?
  5. Not a "criticism", just an observation.
  6. One of the reasons I don't subscribe to many magazines is the lack of local interest. Apart from pre 65 and ssdt there in no coverage. The exception this year was the Highland 2 day, which was excellent. Look through all the photos you have very kindly posted and this makes my point.
  7. OTF, name and shame the "certain" people, or drop it.
  8. Or, what's happening "elsewhere" is not relevant ?
  9. Could be a dummy ! M J' s family have a manufacturing background, starting to look serious.

  13. Don't think Rockshocks come as long ad 406mm but can be lengthened with a spacer at the rode end if required. John can obviously advise. The advantage of R S is the length easily can be changed, and change damping characteristics to. I have a pair of 70lbs springs (New) for sale if you go for lighter rate and don't find them strong enough.

  17. Is it the correct lever ? Why did you change it, did the old one get broken in a fall. Was something else damaged at the same time ?
  18. Could be damp, but some electrics work when they are cold and break down when hot. It may also have been flooded and dried out, in which case not a problem that cant be fixed with carb adjustment / cleaning.
  19. Some Dellortos have an air screws as in carb shown, in which case the other hole is redundant and not relevant. If it has a petrol screw it would be in the left hand hole and the other one is redundant. The center screw is on both and is for adjusting the tick over. An air screw is out to weaken the mixture, a petrol screw is in to weaken mixture.
