  2. Don't think Rockshocks come as long ad 406mm but can be lengthened with a spacer at the rode end if required. John can obviously advise. The advantage of R S is the length easily can be changed, and change damping characteristics to. I have a pair of 70lbs springs (New) for sale if you go for lighter rate and don't find them strong enough.
  3. Or, stick to genuine / non fiddle and don't worry.

Is it the correct lever ? Why did you change it, did the old one get broken in a fall. Was something else damaged at the same time ?
  8. Could be damp, but some electrics work when they are cold and break down when hot. It may also have been flooded and dried out, in which case not a problem that cant be fixed with carb adjustment / cleaning.
  9. Some Dellortos have an air screws as in carb shown, in which case the other hole is redundant and not relevant. If it has a petrol screw it would be in the left hand hole and the other one is redundant. The center screw is on both and is for adjusting the tick over. An air screw is out to weaken the mixture, a petrol screw is in to weaken mixture.
  10. Can you post a picture ?

FIO - twin cylinder 2 stroke rotax microlights in UK generally run at 50:1 and are so over cooled that 80% of radiator is covered in winter.

  15. Hi Deryk, I travel a relatively short distance (2-5 hrs) to the Pre 65, so whether it was one or two days I would still ride. But, in my opinion, the riders from mainland Europe, as well as our southern friends, contribute dramatically to the fantastic atmosphere. My concern would be whether they would continue to support a one day event. If you are looking for a new challenge, how about organising a 2 day twin shock trial. Ross
  16. Bit early for April fools ?
  17. Does the plug spark ? Is the plug wet or dry ?
  18. Maybe they will handle better with extra weight !

  21. Take an experienced friend with you. Be aware that a "cheap" bike that needs new mudguard, bearings, tyres, piston etc - is not a cheap bike. Chain and sprockets. Brake pads. Levers
