You do require insurance for repatriation from your governing body, in the unlikely event of an accident.

Anyone know if they will also fit the earlier alpine stars with the yellow soles ?
-
Hello Michael, any source for Alpine Stars soles ?

What the feck were you searching for when you found this ?
I love these self sufficient secret society's with no connection to the outside world, other than the tractors, diggers, glass, opticians, doctors, building materials, solar panels......the list goes on.
-
Answer me this, do you ever see Nostradamus and dadof2 at the same time ?
-
Be interesting to find out how much it weights, if it's the quality bike they claim. Especially after the protracted discussion on here re quality v' s weight.
-
Very good, even enjoyed the music.
How many routes were there ? Were there many twinshocks '
-
What back up do you need if they can't sell you a bike in the first place ?

Hi Brian George
Don't remember ever doing one at Bonnyrigg, defiantly one at Curry, and the one George is talking about was at the Balerno rugby club. The car was like ice as it was raining. Keith Johnston was there, Mark W, Mike B, James McF, probably Willie Dalling. Anybody remember who else ?
-
Was it ever in our hands ?
-
Your Jet was probably a similar weight to your current 250 !!
-
How about a "bit of a tosser" button ?
When clicked you never have to see their repetitive / boring / rude answers / posts again.
(I'm sure my posts would be censored frequently)

That you in the Orange top Alan ?

Thanks for all the help and info, I got some that were almost spot on. Thanks to John Bull of Rockshocks fame. I can't see why anybody that is experimenting with shocks would use any thing else !
They work really well and are easy to change in lenght, action, spring rate etc. And, if you were to damage any single bit it is replaceable.
I have no connection to John, but over the years have found him to be incredibly helpful.

£6k ? Lucky if they got the asking price!

Martin, have you swapped a later clutch centre (missing out the last plate presumably) into an earlier clutch ?

Part no for the 6 friction, 6 steel basket is 292 180. Can you measure the thickness of a barnet plate, I will find a standard one to compare.
Edited to show correct no of plates.
-
I was told by a 175 owner (from New and still owns it) that the crank was different to the 250, so not as easy a swap ?
-
Have you checked / adjusted the screw behind the plastic cover just in front of the kick start ?
(The 1980 parts book shows 6 friction and 6 steel, 5 @ 1mm 1 @ 1.5mm. Climber shows 6 friction 5 steel, for what it's worth)
I use 3 of the lightest springs and 3 medium, doesn't slip untill you drop it in 4th, I also currently use 5 30 oil.
Edited to show correct no of plates.
-
I would walk, no run, away.
-
I can see you sticking pins in a map, amongst other things !

"Source" from where water spouts.

"SWM default reply" is that thank you in your language ?
