You can also use tqf which is about 7.5 weight.
  4. So how do you reward riders that follow the real rules ? Do you give them minus scores ?
  5. "The 'stop allowed' rules used universally two years ago gave everyone an enjoyable ride, gave the spectators something to watch, and the young riders an exciting challenge if they wanted it." Is this the excitement you refer to ? Apologies to rider in clip, but sums up the majority of stop allowed efforts. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=616447445085461&set=o.161447440559875&type=2&theater

    Hours On A Piston?

That's because you thrash them !
  7. Try light oil or similar, can't see the crack in the picture, but not a problem that I have seen on here before, so not very common.
  8. Have you lubricated the shaft ? Gear shaft may be turning with kick start shaft.
  9. "trying to get a 51t 520 rear sprocket for a 175 you'll be searching for a while (unless anyone knows different)" If using a 520 chain, you would have fewer teeth on the back and front sprockets to achieve the same gearing.
  10. Buying, modifying and "blinging" twin shocks and pre 65's must be making a dent in the new bike market, better investments also.
  11. I'm sure they will make an exception, if your planning on doing a world round on one.
  12. SWM didn't fail according to its owner Pierto Sironi, government and unions were placing to many obstacles/restrictions. He then built a success electronics company.
  13. Which competitive trials bikes had air sprung forks ? Air rear shocks were quite common for a while.
  14. Thought they were only to vent excess pressure ?

Exhaust front pipe ? So front geometry pulled in ?
  16. Most of the advice about starting it and burning the water off is when you drop it in a river, then drain and start immediately. If it's been standing for weeks or months, bearings, bore etc will have rusted to a degree. Personally I would strip it, not start it.
  17. Or, you could just fill in the "location" box.
  18. Peter Knight has retired, unfortunately, he was fantastic. Gearboxes as said are very reliable generally. Only seen one post ever on here with a problem, and he was a plonker. So as much info as possible and we will try and help.
  19. Should've gone to J Bull !
  20. You wouldn't buy a Harley Davidson based on its performance or handling, image is all.
  21. You should be able to find Alan Fender on Facebook.
