As soon as you feel the urge to join a club check out the above, both are grass roots, both are AMCA so you turn up, join the club and ride. Both fairly local to you and have beginners/returning rider sections.

If you buy Rockshocks it's fairly easy, and cheap to make them longer to compensate for changing angles.
-
Helicoil, thought you were against that !
-
Would be surprised if you get a definitive answer as length of shocks, footrest position, frame geometry etc all have a bearing .....
-
Sounds to me like the carb isn't filling, floats/valve sticking ? Have you tried tapping the float chamber and giving it plenty time to fill ? Not sure about stale fuel, in UK anyway, started b40 today that's been sitting for months.

Had Boyer on a B40 for about 15 years, can't fault it. Easy to fit, time etc. Hardest job was mounting the "black box" which is about the size of a cigarette packet.

You sound like a13 year old girl.

Make a heat shield as well, preferably from carbon fibre to preserve the period look.

Unlucky, as these engines are VERY robust. Martin M could give you a price to rebuild etc, or buy another engine. Aprilia TX TXR etc.

Hi htrdoug, Swm clutches can be made 1 finger light with the correct bearings and ramp on the casing, also good cable run and the right lever. Alternatively, a Aprilia TXR casing or engine is the way forward, and has a much smaller flywheel so the performance is not so lazy.
