Had Boyer on a B40 for about 15 years, can't fault it. Easy to fit, time etc. Hardest job was mounting the "black box" which is about the size of a cigarette packet.

Unlucky, as these engines are VERY robust. Martin M could give you a price to rebuild etc, or buy another engine. Aprilia TX TXR etc.

Hi htrdoug, Swm clutches can be made 1 finger light with the correct bearings and ramp on the casing, also good cable run and the right lever. Alternatively, a Aprilia TXR casing or engine is the way forward, and has a much smaller flywheel so the performance is not so lazy.

Cheers Woody. On my bike I have moved my footrests down and back, lengthened the shocks to 395mm and dropped the forks 10mm. Steering is pretty good,as it now stands.
I have just picked up a new frame and plan to steepen the head angle, any pointers would be gratefully received.

The relevance is, take a twin shock, revalve the forks, change the steering angle, completely change the exhaust etc etc - and its still a twin shock
Bodge a couple of shocks onto an air cooled mono and your the anti christ.

Thanks Patrik, in the last paragraph you say the steering angle was changed with the betor forks, do you mean the design of the forks themselves caused the change ?

Anyone know if there are any difference to the steering angles between a Black 1981 SWM frame, (with full mudguard loop) and a 1983 Blue frame without rear frame loop ?

Many sports have handicap systems to level the playing field, no stop works well in trials.
Don't like the rules ? Get a group of like minded riders together and lay out your own trial and enjoy.
Don't try and spoil no stop because you can't do it.
