    Frame Differences ?

Cheers Woody. On my bike I have moved my footrests down and back, lengthened the shocks to 395mm and dropped the forks 10mm. Steering is pretty good,as it now stands. I have just picked up a new frame and plan to steepen the head angle, any pointers would be gratefully received.

    Frame Differences ?

Cheers Woody, any figures for footrest position and steering angle ?
  3. The relevance is, take a twin shock, revalve the forks, change the steering angle, completely change the exhaust etc etc - and its still a twin shock Bodge a couple of shocks onto an air cooled mono and your the anti christ.
  4. Is this the same Woody that argued that montesa yokes, forks and wheels should be allowed on pre 65 bikes ?
  5. Contact Boyer, they are really helpfull.

    Frame Differences ?

Thanks Patrik, in the last paragraph you say the steering angle was changed with the betor forks, do you mean the design of the forks themselves caused the change ?

    Frame Differences ?

Anyone know if there are any difference to the steering angles between a Black 1981 SWM frame, (with full mudguard loop) and a 1983 Blue frame without rear frame loop ?
  10. A bit unnecessary. So Robs bike is 1965 factory fresh ?

  16. Many sports have handicap systems to level the playing field, no stop works well in trials. Don't like the rules ? Get a group of like minded riders together and lay out your own trial and enjoy. Don't try and spoil no stop because you can't do it.
  17. You will have to explain that again, so the better you get, the harder trials becomes ?

You can also use tqf which is about 7.5 weight.
  20. So how do you reward riders that follow the real rules ? Do you give them minus scores ?
  21. "The 'stop allowed' rules used universally two years ago gave everyone an enjoyable ride, gave the spectators something to watch, and the young riders an exciting challenge if they wanted it." Is this the excitement you refer to ? Apologies to rider in clip, but sums up the majority of stop allowed efforts. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=616447445085461&set=o.161447440559875&type=2&theater
