dont be, its wizened old riders that are having this debate, it shouldnt make any difference to your sport/fun.
This very morning we set up a section for practice, some were no stop (my clean) others were stop, no one bothered much we were just riding.......
-
-
This is absolutely untrue.
At last weeks WTC it was all about lines, particularily on the big jumps and before steps.
many beginers find stop allowed better because a momentary pause is not a disaster.
my view is not entrenched at all, I ride both rules and can see the benefits of both in different areas of the country and countries.
What I find difficult to understand is why no stop will improve our sport.
-
Its terribly important that we encourage newbies or returnees to our sport, it isnt important how or who wins, (not to me)
-
Its an interesting comment by Laceythough, as the no stop would have us believe its important to newbies.
-
-
if it makes any difference to you we are stop allowed nene valley no stop.
I would be interested to hear which as a beginner you prefer to ride, thanks.

message or e mail or look on club website miltonbuzzard.co.uk
-
Pop down to our practice ground at Milton keynes and have a ride out, we have club trials there, think there is one on the 12th it will be very straight forward and show you what to do.
-
sorry to 100% clarify I was talking about Wiggy who only rode the TRW Mont in 2008.
-
how much was it to get in?
-
perhaps he means flaggellation?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flagellation
-
-
I saw wiggys bike up close that year, it was 2008.
-
look at the riders numbers, anything less than 18 is top route,30's are juniors 50s youths.
-
Jack Sheppard looked to be going well on the Saturday, but i am guessing the wrist is a long way off mended hence the no-show in the btc and SSDT.
The Jotagas seems ok but pol Tarres although riding very well is a big lad and Ferrer at 22 and moret have lots of experience in this class and will take some beating.
All the riders from Britain are stars, they have worked their way up and Dibs on 6 for his second lap Sunday was right up there, half of fajardos score and matching raga, and a big gap to the next rider. Wiggy was not so much "off the pace" as the scores suggest, making no excuses there is alot of room for improvement, we shall see........
Bou never looked 100% settled from what I saw, his five at section 2 was bizzare, he had a clear 5 on section 7 not given and by the way he looked round at the section end he thought it might have been too. He really struggled first time to get up 11 it looked like his section, but if the section severity stays the same it might not be so easy for him this year.

Yes you did miss it and no youre not the first!
http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/41274-new-raga-rep/
beta TTT has them too
-
Dont believe everything you read, they might be better now but the team were all front and glossy websites.(I did say were)
There was not one future bike at the WTC so if they were special they would be there surely?
Before you make statements touch and feel the truth.
-
-
whatever map Oliveras has is the one you need that bike is like a rocket ship.
Wont mention the gearbox noise of the other one in the WTC this weekend.
Oops just did.
-
it was a great event massive crowds supoerb sections and an atmosphere as good as at any round i have been to.
Perhaps the only side was it was in France and occasionally the biased observing wasn't good to see.
bou should've had a five too on day one which would have made for a more interesting result.
The English lads did well and the championship is better for them being there but the lack of British challengers in juniors is worrying.
-
is grimbo riding one in scotland?
-
To be honest they aren,t.
they werent even a full 300 wiggys bike was 272cc, they chopped about at the swinging arm for no good reason the shockers weren't that good and ti bolts dont make it special.
Gearboxes are standard as was clutch forks never had anything done to them and the mechanics really weren't very good, all from personal experience with them at wtc.
-
Future bikes were not high tech.
