Isn't it a bit like line dancing, you can see its a skill but always come back to, why? Bit like people under 55 riding pre 65's, why?
-
Scorpas like all bikes have their defects but guess with a motor 16 years old they have sorted that end.
-
Its not important but if the 09 is the same as the 10 then it begs the question how long can they keep going selling a handful of rebadged machines? We all know that the motor is 25 years old, but that is fine if the market is buying the product, is it?

The syringe should do the job to be honest. Be brave and open the bleed nipple plenty so you get good flow, and if you feel like it still has air take off the bars and hang up over night then push last bit of air through.
should get a "squirt back" in the reservoir if working properly.
A big syringe is essential. And lots of fluid.

I feel sorry for birks as he has got a job on when the manufacturer isn't getting the bikes through to sell. Whether they will survive is another matter but if the finances are as dire for them as we are led to believe I can't see them affording the costs of developing a new engine, but hope I'm wrong.
the bikes would be the first batch this year? 09 when the others are just out with the '10's doesn't look good......

use soap Putoline do a nice small tub and it should slip on much easier.

They are always available by october at the latest so don't see why you should wait till feb? I am sure that they are still rev hungry but think the bottom end is better. Unless you are a schoolboy go for the 250.

yes it is a bliss. There is some discussion as to its illegibility as some think that a bike made in 08 should not be up against an 80/90s, but if you want to ride it in the series go ahead I feel.
Rider is Chris koch who has had some success on the machine.

I do know the ACU put money in to the lads but its very little when spread around compared to what is spent, and for whatever reason based on doing the European championship.

I am so pleased for Alexz and Jonathan as they have both ridden extremely well this year. In fact the better they have ridden the less coverage, certainly in the tmx, they seem to have got. Almost like it is expected of them.
I don't buy the Britain prefers losers or nearly men, certainly since Dougie won his first WTC we have had many youngsters come through and these two are just the latest of what seems to be a long line of great trials talent .
A conversation was relayed to me over the weekend that Thierry Michaud (the Fnm French representative and full time paid overseerer of French lads/extra minder/coach ) wanted to know how we managed to continue with the seemingly endless stream of great British lads. Not too sure what the answer is, just that seeing the lads, not just these two but all of them is just brilliant.
My only concern is converting one into the next Dougie, ie a winner at the top level.
Maybe the answer lies in what the ACU can do, what we could do, or simply who can fund/do themselves.
One thing is for sure if we let Dougie go the same way as Colley, Jarvis and any others who have disappeared from the scene the knowledge advice experience and savvy will be wasted, instead of passed on to our future possible champions.
Alexz has completed another championship as winner, following in the footsteps of Morris, Dabill, Brown. J R has done the same in behind Wiggy and Challoner. These lads can do even better I feel given help advice and support.

Yep when I get home I will, ask questions and i will answer aswell.

Its not a difficult job to seal a rim tape just needs a knack really. Its like your first cycle puncture, easy when you have done it a few times andknow what to do. Pal of mine had loads of tyres drop off the rim of a mont wheel and they can di this much more than morads. Spokes can be a pain too and need to be torqued really (

avoid a tube if you can it will loose grip easier.

In his class there was 31, the winnerdropped 21. This is euro junior which is the same age class as todays wtc youth.
Spoke to them on the loop and before, they are enjoying the experience and I expect a better result today. Steep learning curve in all areas.
I have a couple of vid clips will try to upload soon.
