If you are capable on the inter SMC route but are not that familar on rocks you could struggle.

I would go for a Sherco 290 from 01 or if you can stretch your budget an 02. much better than a txt imho, can be updated easily to compare with a much later model, easy to work on, lots of spares interchangeable with later models, reliable and as he said, buy by condition, seek (for a good while) and you will find.

The rules were changed recently but from what I understand riders must be 18 for the top route. Ross and Sam at 18 could ride the full WTC this year, but I understand Ross is sticking youth and Sam from the info given out will do a full season Junior (too old for youth) thanks to the Scorpa deal. Alexz 17 has to ride a 125cc bike till he is 18 in November, so will probably move up to do Junior on the small bike.

Doubt its a true list as I don't think regs are out yet.

I know people round my way put a lot of time and effort into organising their trials, but the land is to limiting. Check the slide, should have no step. Set the carb to be as lean as poss on the float level. 4/5 beats before it stops is about right for tickover (none).
