A beta even with a flywheel weight (did it have one?) is not super soft. Pretty sure the 250 sherco i tried wasnt soft either, this had the hydria ignition i think.

If there are problems with the bike, supply difficuties or whatever it doesnt matter how good the pr is @michael_t it wont sell. Steve saunders tried and tried and in the end gave up and it was nothing to do with pr. @philmario unless you are comparing it directly with other nodels its not an objective assesment, and may well be the perfect bike for you. Lets hope nothing unavailable breaks.

most southern trials with some decent ground this time of year and testing sections 4 is better than 3, postage stamp or not, so I agree 6 is better.

if you dont have the right gear you dont have it regardless of skill.

its not the number of gears but the usable gears in sections.

Without a doubt a smaller rider of equal strength,fitness,endurance and ability would ultimately perform slightly (power to weight) better. but its only at the very top level.

everyone makes their own engines except montesa who have Hondas. (Scorpas were yamaha) Its the age of the OSSA that would put me off as its an early one its much more likely to fail.
