He's the current bridesmaid, but I still feel for Deigo Bosis always having Jordi creaming him for over a decade !
  4. If you had a trials bike with this number 82 09143 stamped on the head stock in quite small numbers , is it familiar or recognisable to anyone here ?.....Pitley ?
  5. A rider from down under (New Zealand ) but thats close enough to call him an Aussie, who was, and probably still is a tremendous talent on a Trials bike is Stefan Merriman, In 1993 he won the Australian Trials Championship at the tender age of 20,and in the same year the New Zealand Supercross title. I think he then over the next few years competed in the WTC. He then found his mark in the World Enduro series and from 2000 through to 2006 has been 4 times World Champ and coming in 2nd and 3rd in the other years. In doing so he has collected 62 championship wins. Merriman

  10. More than impressive, when you consider the two years of talk put forward by many, that the 3 Montesa factory riders needed time to become familiar with the 4T. Then all the hype of the 4T being at a disadvantage on the indoor sections, he sure put paid to that myth with fine style! He certainly looks to be the rider to set the standard this season, but saying that, the natural terrain sections in the WTC with many more variables, will test his talent against the more experieced .
  11. Big John,I pick her out immediately as well, (lady rider) I was thinking it may have been HL !!!

  13. steveo replied to spike2450's topic in Gas Gas
Spike, Have the same bike 250 2006 GG and the range of click adjustment is 36. When wound right out , as you start to turn back in (clockwise ) the first 2 to 3 clicks have little resistance but from then on mine is a firmer resistance with a definite "click" heard and felt through you screwdriver. Head on on back to your dealer and let him sort it.

  22. Here is my design rack. Only weighs 9 kg and the bike sits snugly in the wheel hoops and is secured to the tyre on the rear door by a leather strap. On and off in 30 seconds. No lights plate needed because of the unobscured lights on the vehicle.
  23. That red stand looks a little bit suspect....sort of left foot distance handy, while skillfully balancing up there..
  24. Little Johnny came into the kitchen where his mother was making dinner. Christmas was coming up and he thought this was a good time to tell his mother what he wanted. "Mum, I want a bike for Christmas". Little Johnny was a bit of a troublemaker. He had got into trouble at school and at home. Johnny's mother asked him if he thought he deserved to get a bike for Christmas. Little Johnny, of course, thought he did. Johnny's mother, being a Christian woman, wanted him to reflect on his behaviour over the last year, and write a letter to God, and tell him why he deserved a bike for Christmas. Little Johnny stomped up the steps to his room and sat down to write God a letter. LETTER 1: Dear God, I have been a very good boy this year and I would like a bike for Christmas. I want a red one. Your friend, Johnny. Johnny knew this wasn't true. He had not been a very good boy this year, so he tore up the letter and started over. LETTER 2: Dear God, This is your friend Johnny. I have been a pretty good boy this year, and I would like a red bike for Christmas. Thank you, Johnny. Johnny knew this wasn't true either. He tore up the letter and started again. LETTER 3: Dear God, I have been an OK boy this year and I would really like a red bike for Christmas. Your friend, Johnny. Johnny knew he could not send this letter to God either. Johnny was very upset. He went downstairs and told his mother he wanted to go to church. Johnny's mother thought her plan had worked because Johnny looked very sad. "Just be home in time for dinner," his mother said. Johnny walked down the street to the church and up to the altar. He looked around to see if anyone was there. He picked up a statue of the Virgin Mary. He slipped it under his shirt and ran out of the church, down the street, into his house, and up to his room. He shut the door to his room and sat down with a piece of paper and a pen. Johnny began to write his letter to God. LETTER 4: I'VE GOT YOUR MUM. IF YOU WANT TO SEE HER AGAIN, SEND THE F***ING BIKE. Signed YOU KNOW WHO
  25. A Young man called Ron wanted to buy a Christmas present for his new girlfriend. As they hadn't been seeing each other for very long, he decided after careful consideration, that a pair of gloves would strike the right note, not too romantic and not too personal. He went with his girlfriends sister to Harrods and bought a dainty pair of white fur lined gloves, The sister bought a pair of Knickers for herself at the same time. During the wrapping the shop assistant mixed up the two items, the sister got the gloves and Ron got the knickers. Without checking Ron sealed the package and sent it to his new girlfriend with the following letter:- Dear Sasha, I chose these because i've noticed that you are not wearing any when we go out inthe evenings. If it had not been for your sister I would have chosen the long ones with buttons, but she wears shorter ones which are easier to remove, These are a very delicate shade, but the lady i bought them from showed me the pair she had been wearing for the past three weeks and they were hardly soiled at all, I had her try yours on for me and she looked really smart in them even though they were a little bit tight on her. She also said that the pair rubs her ring which helps keep it clean and shiny, In fact she hasn't needed to wash it since she began wearing them. I wish I was there to put them on for you the first time, as no doubt many other hands will touch them before I have a chance to see you again. When you take them off remember to blow into them a little bit because they will be naturally a little damp from wearing,Just think how many times my lips will kiss them during the coming year. I hope you will wear them for me on Friday night. All my love Ron. P.S. The latest style is to wear them folded down with a little bit of fur showing.
