I was going to replace the exhaust pipe on my 85 TY (mono) and when tapping on the expansion box area losts of large pieces of tubular rust or what was baffle fell out. Will it effect the performance good or bad? I have the option to return it but they are tough to locate in the U.S.

Hi. In need of the rubber holder which protects the Lighting Coil wires where they exit the engine case. This part has no part number but I found a supplier that will manufacture the part provided I send him some pictures of the part. Hello I've still got me oil tank on my TY125. Will take the thing off when I change the cylinder later. I'd like to drain the old oil out and refresh. The thing is can I just undo the diddy wire clip on the lowest black tube, pull off and let drain without getting an air block in me pipe. Cheers Squid.

I just received a nice new chain tensioner from tytrials, for a ty80 went to fit it, to find the lug that it fits to under the swinging arm is missing, so any advice appreciated the best way forward, my thoughts are if some kind sole to take pictures of theirs and measurements so l can get something similar welded on. Or as said any other thoughts would be appreciated, to get this fitted. TIA

Hi there can anyone help me with the standard sprocket gearing for a ty80 what should it be or what is the best!

On a '74 TY240 there are 3 coils inside the mag. Only one (I guess) feeds the spark, other two for lights. Is there any reason to leave the lighting coils inside a "non-lights" Trials only bike? Second question: what is 434-81332-10-00 PLATE, TIMING since there is no adjustment to the timing what does this plate do? Thanks Alan

For Christmas I bought myself a TY175 but its in need of a bit of TLC. After reading through the forum I have found that the frame should be Vauxhall Sebring Silver but I connot find what colour the white tank should be. Can anyone offer any help please? If anyone has a rear brake pedal in good condition i'd also be interested.

Guys- I took off all the lights and fitted a set of Domino grips and throttle assembly on the bars- for those of you who have gone this route- what is a good replacement for the kill switch assembly? I don't want a lanyard situation as I don't think it's necessary for my riding style. Any ideas?

I'm taking my fork tubes apart so I can send them to be rechromed as its peeling off I have got them dis assembled, I've got the damper rod out, but in the fork tube there is an aluminium bush and also what looks like a washer retained at the bottom of the fork tube. How do you get this out as obviously this cant stay in for rechroming. Thanks..

hi, changed oil seal behind front sprocket, wondering if anyone has made a cover to protect the seal from damage.

Just a quick one, Are Yamaha TY250 mono barrels all the same, will early ones fit a Pinky? I have been told that one of the mono's was not a brilliant bike so I don't want to use the wrong barrel if one is different. Thanks.
