It's so hard to choose a favorite photo when you take so many. This photo keeps catching my eye every time I view it. This was at the Ireland WTC event, during practice. Quite an army of minders. Check the number and placement of each spotter all the way up the wall. I'm guessing about 20 feet straight up with no run. Frankly, I don't remember if Fuji ever made it or not.

Its got to be Michael Browns Top Trial Team Beta. Black Frame, red anodised clamps and the forks look fantastic.

Hi all Am I going a little mental here? Seen home page of website saying giant TV Screen at Sheffield. I am pretty sure that we were expecting a screen there last time round as well... So should we actually expect one this year?? PS: I am not dreaming am I? There was one due last time round wasn't there??

Section fails at Barcellona WTiC. Busto, Dabill, Karlsson, Ferrer, all failed every section, Fajardo only got through one section and Cabastany two sections. In the final Cabastany and Fajardo failed all but one sections each. I don't want to belittle Bou's (and Raga's) skill and effort, but thats not entertainment or a good championship, when most the riders can't complete a section.

Brilliant as Spain etc were to watch Luxembourg definately added to the flavour of the event. Watching them practise was real heart in the mouth stuff. Crashing was of the highest order! Also good to see the Irish boys taking on complex carbohydrates in the form of fish and chips whilst waiting to ride the Port Jack section. Well done IOM lot - a well organised event.

Has anyone any idea when the FIM post next year's outdoor dates?

I have just had the following email from the ACU regarding next years WTC. "We have received a provisional list from the FIM but at present it doesn't include a round in the UK. The only possibility would be Ireland which we have no knowledge of at present as they have their own Federation There are two 'tba' entries on the list so we will have to wait to see who they are. It is a bit early yet - perhaps you would like to e-mail me again in a few weeks". Many Thanks Alison Has anyone heard anything about the British Round or even if there is going to be one ?.

Sat down last night with my nice hot cup of coffee eagerly awaiting the start of the St Petersburg indoor ( hoping to see dougie stomp some authority ), the program started late because of the boxing then when it came on, I dont know if it was just me, but all the camera men and camera angles were making me go boss eyed, all the good trick bits you hope see the camera was pointing at floor or the lights overhead, if it wasn,t for the commentary keeping you up to date I would have been lost! Had to get that one off my chest. How comes Dougie comes good on the stock bike? Richard

Final notes for those coming to the Trials event of the year this weekend: For those who are collecting wristbands on-site who I've not communicated this to - the Trials Central area will be next to the on-site beer tent. I believe that's to be at the bottom of the camping area, but should be easily spotted regardless. We'll be there both Friday and Saturday evenings. Wristbands will be needed BOTH nights. Any spare wristbands you have then please bring them and return them to me. They're in short supply and high demand. DO NOT FORGET YOUR WRISTBANDS - replacements are not available!!!
