Ok I am trying to clean up an old K-Roo Fantic and I was just wondering what methods you guy use to clean up the old unpainted white mudguards that this bike and many other Fantics had? Its the big rear guard/seat panel and I would like to get it something like white again Cheers guys for any tips

Have just fitted a new tyre, fairly easy task. But cannot get tyre to seat correctly - have got plenty of washing up liquid on and blown to 40 psi twice. Please help, should i blow it up past 40?

For comparison from the manufacturer's quoted figures for the three 'adult' electric bikes... Assume that 1KW divided by 747 = 1 BHP. Note also bike weights. Mecatecno T18 10 KW, 13.4 BHP, 58 KG. 5 Speed box and clutch. Electric Motion 12 KW, 16 BHP, 72 KG (Weight varies) Direct drive no clutch (to speak of). Gas Gas TXTE 15 KW, 20 BHP, 68 KG 6 Speed box and clutch.

I have seen this tool that looks like a sausage that is supposed to help fit a tubless rear tyre on the YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE website. I always struggle at home trying to get a seal using straps and ropes etc. Has anybody used this tool? I have read the "How to" guide but it doesnt seem too clear. Does the kit come with two sealing rubbers for both sides of the tyre? Any info appraciated as I dont want to waste my money on a useless tool. Tony M

I've been toying with the idea of buying some land as an invesment, now seeing as I have a new hobby, I was wondering if anyone knew what hoops I'd have to jump through to be able to bung a few obstacles in there and start riding over them. It's obviously possible otherwise there wouldn't be trials parks.

Is anyone else a little disappointed with TrialsWorld magazine now that it's been around for 4 months or so? It seems to be almost content-less with acres of advertising and reprints of 70s brochures and the like which, while interesting, give the impression that they're only there to pad the page count. Even the "proper" articles consist of huge photos with just a few lines of text squashed into a corner of each page. The bike tests are typical TMX fare being superficial and sycophantic and the classified ads at the back are utterly pointless (as will always be the case with monthly publications). I`ve just been reading about the difference between unleade(95RON),and super unleaded(98RON).My sherco is supozed to run on 98RON.On the few occasions i1ve had problems,i post a message on this site and usually i get asked if i`m using the correct fuel.I always thought that the super unleaded ignited easier,but apparently not,in fact,quite the opposite.The RON factor is a measure of the fuels resistance to explode due to high compression(and cause pinking or pinging)rather than be ignited at the exact time by the spark. I never knew this,but now i feel enlightened,and i thought i would post this message because i`m sure ther are riders out there who thought as i did....…

Just wondering if anybody has tried heated grips on their bikes. I have a hard time riding when the temp gets down to the 30's and below, and it seems that heated grips might provide a solution, or at the very least help a little. Wiring on some of the ones I've seen seems pretty straight forward, and the cost is also reasonable. Just wondering if there's something I might be overlooking as it all seems pretty simple.

Has anybody seen the latest bargain! on ebay , a very rare 250 air cooled beta that's had 2 grand spent on rebuild. Its amazing how much you have to spend on a bike to get it into such good condition

A question for you,I'll be pretty sparse on the nitty gritty, don't want to be acused of slagging anyone off but it's a bit of a moral dilema which I'd appreciate an unbiased view on. Ordered some parts for the bike the other day, quite expensive in the UK but found a good price from the US, even including shipping and possible import tax. The contents of the kit was exactly the same as UK supplied and shown and listed on their web site in detail, same maker the works. Checked the price of the kit with the US supplier, all good and paid up over the phone. Problem; the kit turned up minus head and gaskets (barrel, piston, gudgeon pin and bearing supplied fine). Dear all, Rear brake pedal has no feel and just doesn't do anything. I have tried all possible ways to bleed the rear brake system but I can't get to remove the air bubbles (or at least what it seems to be the issue). Have tried normal bleeding as in pushing the pedal several times and when holding it down opening the bleed nipple but no luck - air is getting out but it's never enough. Tried pressure bleeding and even vacuum bleeding as well using a syringe and a piece of transparent pipe and also no luck one thing i noted when vacuum bleeding was that air bubbles did disappear slightly but kept on coming like it's getting air from somewhere. What could this be? Any…

As a "field engineer" in the auto industry, seems we never know exactly what to expect coming down the pipe nowadays! Basically the "gas" is nothing but a mixture of hydrocarbons and additives, then oxigenated with alcohol or something which will achieve less mileage and somewhat cleaner output! E85 is worse as I understand!As far as fuel economy goes, there is simply not as much energy in alcohol as there is what we call gasoline! I can deal with that, the fuel sucks basically, even the 93 octane premimum does not run well in motors that are not designed to deal with it, gaining nothing but unburnt residues!
