Just after a little help, I'm in the process of doing my bike test with the intention of putting my bike on the road ( hopefully make it a little easier to get around and keep the boys in blue happy ). I was hoping that someone would be able to point me in the right direction. I apologise if this topic has been posted before but for the life of me I couldn't find anything on it. Thanks Tim

does anyone bother to insure their bikes ? if so can anyone recomend a company that will quote for theft cover. my bike is road registered but unless it has full working everthing (lights, horn, speedo, indicators, ect.) it wont be covered on a road policy.

Hi this is my first time posting and I'm glad to be part of the community. I have a Gas Gas Pro 2004 model, think its a 280cc. Im looking to buy a small van and I was wondering if anybody has used a Vauxhall Astra van to transport their trials bike, does it fit okay? Im not really bothered if it has to be leant to the side just as long as I know I can get it in the back. Thanks in advance.

  7. Hi, not sure if this is the right forum for this, but it is linked. I know a few people do laid up insurance for trials bikes but dont know who they are!!! I have been told that NFU do/used to do it, but everytime I have ever rung them the say categorically that they DO NOT offer insurance for trials bikes. Does anyone out there use/recommend a good insurer for my bike while it is in the garage locked up?? Seems strange that most companies will insure me to ride on the road and potentially hit a

I'm going to check out a 2002 Beta. It'll be my 1st trials bike if I decide to buy. However, right now, my only means of transporting the Beta is in the back of a Subaru - either my Outback or Forester. Will the Beta fit??? Anyone tried this?

I haven't bought a bike yet but will be going for one soon. I'm planning on putting one inside and one on a dave cooper rack if my dad gets back into trialling aswell. I have a 05 combo but the back has been lined and the floor eyelets covered over. ive drilled and got the 2 rear ones near the back doors but cant find measurements or pictures to show a better location for the middle and front ones. If somebody has a combo this shape would you be able to measure the distance from the rear eyelet to the front and middle ones please? Thanks

I want to sell a registration number off a trials bike and when enquiring about insurance to be able to tax the bike I came across ebike insurance pay as you go. As I only want to insure the bike to tax it to be able to transfer the number this seems a good/ cheap way to get around it. Any one know about this as I have not heard about it before. Not had a road bike for a long while, things have changed. Thanks in advance.

Hi, at the moment have a VW Caddy pick up which is excellent for the trials bike, but, due to work am needing to up grade to a bigger van. The Toyota Hiace seems like a good option and was just wondering peoples opinions on it. i.e how many bikes can you fit in and is it good on juice. Cheers
