  10. A sunny spring day and 11 super sections at Bracken Rocks, Holloway near Matlock Derbyshire welcomed the 26 riders who made the pilgrimage to this much loved venue. The sections were in prime condition and soon the riders were stripped down to shirt sleeves and relishing the challenge laid down for them by Clerk of the Course Paul Beswick for this round 2 of the Clubs 2012 /2013 championship sponsored by local spares supplier PB Trialsport. Due to a clash of dates the observer corps who are so essential to the enjoyment of trials was down to just a happy band of one in the shape of George Chinnery who we would like to sincerely thank for making the trip we really do stru…

A Message from the Colmore Cup Clerk of the Course. The 2017 Colmore Cup Trial S3 is now very much alive and well! After multiple setbacks over the last 2 months the Stratford Upon Avon clubs February 12th spectacular now has a new start venue and some brilliant new land. Everything had been falling apart after the losses of DovedaleWoods and Saintbury Quarry, both of which had been used in many midland centre events for over half a century. Then out of the blue new land in the Chipping Campden area changed hands and the new owners were quickly persuaded by the sweet talking Stratford boys that a few bikes over it would do no harm at all . Then there…

The Banovallum two day trial will be held at Withcall (near Cadwell Park) on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June, come along and enjoy the picturesque views of the Lincolnshire Wolds, and in the evening bring your own food to put on the BBQ (provided) and sing along with the band. There will be sections suitable for beginners, and pre 65 all welcome, hope to see you there it's well worth the few extra miles for two days trialing.

Just thought I would, and maybe on behalf of many riders, thank Lancs County MCC and Bootle SC for two cracking events over the w/end, never ridden up there before and hats off to you all for your efforts, especially the observers. Fortunatley the weather was perfect.............Brill!! But I ache from head to toe.....LOL! You have to see it to believe it, those pre 65/ twin shock riders are amazing.

  17. Started by as iow,

At the start of this week the IOWMCC had 15 entries for the first round of the ladies British championship on March 12 . If the Ladies don't support thier championship why should clubs bother to organise trials for them, it takes as much effort to put on a trial for 15 as 115 riders. The club even had a beginners route planed, but at the moment we have one section per rider. Maybe things will improve this week but time is running out.

The Colmore Cup on the 3rd March is almost fully subscribed, so anyone still thinking of entering this event should get their entries in quick. For riders who have entered, this is a 28 mile road trial. Please note the following: As part of the MSA approval process, the club has been requried to contact both the Gloucestershire Police and the West Mercia Police. The Police have asked us to confirm that all machines are fully road legal and properly insured! Please check your insurance to ensure that it does not exclude you from riding in trials... many policies do! If so, you can purchase basic road insurance on the day when you sign on. (certain restrictions apply.)…
