Just had my results from two recent trials I rode with CWAC, what a nice suprise to see a couple of photos inside (of me at each trial) with the results (heard they had to get a A4 envelope for bikespace ) Lovely touch, do any other clubs take photos of all the riders and post them with the results ?

The entry details for this Trial dropped through my letter box this morning. Without doubt it was the best one day Clubman Trial I rode in last year, it wasn't easy by any means but every section was on & there was nowt daft or intimidating. One lap of 50 sections on a fairly tight time limit & a proper set of rules, let's hope it's not foggy this year so we can see where we're off!

There are 70 entries for the latest round of the Midland Centre Group trial championship held by the South Shropshire club on SUnday. I was wondering if anyone had ridden at the venue before and if so what is it like? I am very late in the starting order - each club has to take their turn at being last and it's ours this week.

The Vale of Evesham Trial was held at Grove Quarry high on the Cotswold Hills. A round of the Midland Centre Championship, Steve Saunders made a late entry appearance to brave the cold conditions- and it was cold! Rumour has it that Steve cleaned the trial with regular championship contender Mark Hicken second on three marks lost. On the Over40/Clubman route, 2005 Champion Clive Charleton give the rest of the field a five mark head start, by stalling his 4RT on the very first easy section. Although Clive was confident at the end that he'd limited the damage to his 2006 championshp hopes by adding just 4 more marks to his early disaster. Evesham's Mick Chapman was plea…

I've been on the enduro and rally scene for a good few years, but the above will be my first trial. What should I expect, and is there anything different that I won't be expecting?

The Sections for the Stratford-Upon-Avon 'Ralph Varden' round of the Midland Centre Championship have been set out today and they are tough! Entries for this traditional trial are closed but anyone wishing to have a ride may enter in the day for a small charge which goes to the Air Ambulance. We have set out three routes. Experts and Inters ride the A route and Over 40's and Clubmen ride the B route. For riders wishing to have less of a challenge there is also a non championship C route. The trial is being held at Shennington between Banbury and Shipston-on-Stour. The venue is well known for it's unique ex WW2 airfield filter beds which provide a number of rather dif…

Anyone know how far lay-by 125 is South of Aviemore? Also, on the regs it says 'No fuel at start'. Does that mean no filling up of tanks at the parking area, or that there aren't any petrol stations in the vicinity?. Thanks, Craig
