Anyone going on Feb 12? Is it a good one for clubman?

The Vale of Evesham Trial was held at Grove Quarry high on the Cotswold Hills. A round of the Midland Centre Championship, Steve Saunders made a late entry appearance to brave the cold conditions- and it was cold! Rumour has it that Steve cleaned the trial with regular championship contender Mark Hicken second on three marks lost. On the Over40/Clubman route, 2005 Champion Clive Charleton give the rest of the field a five mark head start, by stalling his 4RT on the very first easy section. I've been on the enduro and rally scene for a good few years, but the above will be my first trial. What should I expect, and is there anything different that I won't be expecting?

I see that Dudley club are running a trial at this ground on the 22nd Jan. I am quite a long way away, but might make the trip. Whats the ground like. Is it a good one? Thanks Dave

Hi All, Is anyone on here doing the Barnsley trial on the 29th? Not too far from me and I used to live there so gonna pop over and give it a go. One thing though, can't for the life of me work out where Dovecliff woods in Worsbrough is. been on multimap/ordnance survey but can't find the bugger. Anyone on here know where it is/how to get there or a website/email address I can find out from please? Telecat, I presume you'll be going won't you? Andy

Alexz Wigg took a Superb and confident win in the Stratford-Upon-Avon clubs Ralph Varden trial on Sunday. Dropping just 15 marks in the muddy conditions, Wigg halved the score of the next best rider Ross Danby. In third place was Buster Reagan on 42 with Mark Hicken fourth on 43. Expert Simon Levett riding down a route was best on the B route loosing just three marks with top Over 40 rider Clive Charleton taking maximum points towards his championship dropping 30. Eveshams Mick Chapman was third on36. Evergreen Kevin McCullagh won the C route on 30.

The Sections for the Stratford-Upon-Avon 'Ralph Varden' round of the Midland Centre Championship have been set out today and they are tough! Entries for this traditional trial are closed but anyone wishing to have a ride may enter in the day for a small charge which goes to the Air Ambulance. We have set out three routes. Experts and Inters ride the A route and Over 40's and Clubmen ride the B route. For riders wishing to have less of a challenge there is also a non championship C route. Sorry to all planning riding this Sunday but in the intrests of safety and no sign of a let up in the weather we have decided to cancel the trial. It is hoped that this excellent venue will be used in the very near future, sorry once again.

Hi ... can anyone advise re spectating this coming Sunday... 1. Where exactly is it (Castleton?) 2. Car Parking ? 3. Any road work meaning I'll have to move around by car ? 4. If all off-road then what sort of distance is the loop - walkable ? Thanks in advance

Anyone here riding the Rhayader Classic Experts on saturday then? Well worth the trip if you got a twinshock or brit bike. This event uses sections from the british experts trial run in the 60s &70s.So its a top day out with about 25 miles out on the road in a cracking part of wales. Cheers.
