The entry details for this Trial dropped through my letter box this morning. Without doubt it was the best one day Clubman Trial I rode in last year, it wasn't easy by any means but every section was on & there was nowt daft or intimidating. One lap of 50 sections on a fairly tight time limit & a proper set of rules, let's hope it's not foggy this year so we can see where we're off!

Rode the 80th Bemrose today with my lad and some mates, great trial and very well organised, single lap of 40 sections, butty wagon, no rain, bike didn't miss a beat (Yamaha!!) and some cracking scenery. The work that goes into these events is often overlooked by riders so many thanks to Alan and Ruth Nixon and team for a great day out. Eiger.

Middlesbrough & district motorclub will be holding a trials at lazenby bank tomorrow. 3 laps 10 sections. conditions were very good under wheel today. so we kept the big lap, and extended a few sections. lazenby bank can be located just of the A174 opposite lazenby village. 11am start all classes, enter at start. To start off this forum here's a trial definately worth travelling for. Next sunday 13 feb is the Old Bazzola Trial run by the Stocksbridge Club. Two laps of 18-20 sections, non stop rules, road work involved, good sensible straight forward sections with two routes just north of Sheffield. Entries close feb 11. Mark T

Hey guys, I have a line on the three following bikes and was hoping you could tell the low down on which of these is the better bike. This is going to be my first trials bike, and I havent had too much riding experience, but I want something I can grow into. I really would like a bike that is super reliable, and has a decent size gas tank for extended riding periods. 1.) 1992 Yamaha TY250: (good condition, runs great, new plastic, tires, domino controls, very clean, front disc break) 2.) 1990 Beta Zero: (New front tire, runs good, very reliable) 3.) 1995 GasGas JT35: (From the day of the really big bore, boat-loads of torque. Well rode the Wallace today, which was the first round of the Novagar series incorporating a 50/50 route. Just wanted to say what a cracking day with all the usual groups in. Did they get the 50/50 right I think they did so well done to the club and lets hope the rest of the series is as equally as good!!Rode like a ''Turkey'' but still had a good day and the sun was shining! Maybe Spring has Sprung.

What a difference a venue makes. With round 6 barely a month ago at Bracken Rocks made much more difficult than envisaged by the clerk of the course, Paul Beswick, when he laid them out the previous day due to torrential overnight rain turning the course into a quagmire the course at Burycliffe Quarry was almost unaffected by the downpours of Saturday. The outcome was 10 sections ridden 4 times over and around the sandstone outcrop that comprises this ever popular Classic Trials venue. The Scott Trial. Marske, 21-10-2017 The Scott Trial takes place on 0ctober 21st at Marske. The one hundred year old event is the toughest one day cross country trial in Europe using a course of eighty miles of moorland. The entry list is full with 200 starters. Four recent winners compete. Silsden’s Dougie Lampkin, former multi world indoor and outdoor champion, heads the list with multi British champion James Dabill as well as the World and British female trials champion Emma Bristow. North Berks Bonanza Super Trial to be held on Sunday 9th August at Seymours Arena Aston Tirold Nr Didcot Oxfordshire. 12.00noon start gates open from 10.00am, camping available on the Saturday night. Plenty of parking available catering van, trade stands and toilets. The trial will consist of laps of 8 sections for qualifying with the top 4 riders going through to a final. The next SCRMC trial is this coming Sunday, 12 July 11am start, at the excellent venue at Abington, just a mile from Junction 13 on the M74. As last year the trial will be over 3 laps of 15 sections spread round a 5 mile moorland lap with, on a clear day, excellent views from the top of the hills. The trial has Classes for Pre '65, Twin Shock, Clubman, Over 40, Air Cooled Monos, Youth A, B & C and caters for both modern and classic machines. Hi, does anybody know where the Darlington Club trial is on 13th March ? Or any other trials in the North East that weekend - am thinking of returning to trial after a few years lay off but want to go watch one first I picked up this Darlington date from results of last trial on their website http://www.darlington-motor-club.org.uk/index_layout.htm - I've e-mailed the trials contact listed on website but no response. I guess this will be listed in T&MX but haven't been able to find a newsagent with T&MX round here ....

Has anybody seen or heard results of Sundays Jack Wood national? Suspect conditions to have favoured Dan Thorpe or Steve Saunders.

The 2nd Club trial will be held at Addingham Moorside on the 20th January. It's an early start at 10:30 am so set your alarm. This will use up one of the Farmers days under the 14/28 days rule but the club are still pursuing planning permission with an eye to allowing the farmer to open the land for practice at least once a month.
